Whenever I hear a new Brian Eno song that I really respond to, I feel like I am creating new memories whilst living through them and at the same time looking back on them.
Very good explanation for the sensory experience of listening to Brian Eno which I have done continuously since first discovering him as a teenager in the 1970’s: the soundtrack of my meager existence here for ‘Another Day on Earth.’
Oooh u great soul... Perfect expression... Love & respect... With very very... Warm heart... From deepest corners... Of my own soul... Which is only one... Not mine... Not urs one... I mostly don’t comment, but other than Brian eno songs but this. This one speaks so deeps in my scars Id made. I’ve suffered depression in so many years I know I won’t last forever. I love you to anyone who see this. Please seek help, please don’t do it on your own. Believe what you want to believe!
His songs are like being walked hand-in-hand through the subconscious mind and at the same time seeing clarity in waking life. It becomes addictive in terms of a vehicle towards discerning beyond the otherwise blurred bounderies.
@@AikiBudo22 Thank you for sharing your story. I hope you are well. I am well and happy, thank you, fulfilling my dream of spending time in the mountains of Southern Italy. I believe fulfilling our dreams can help heal us and help make us happy. I hope you are fulfilling yours.
And then so clear to wonder To wake with open eyes As the snow across the tundra And the rain across the skies And the rain across the skies So much again and weightless In the motherworld of space We fail to form to come to And the razor mountains fade And the day is cast in shade In these the world we open So much to lose to save To light the highest beacons And the rose of love will bleed And the rose of love will bleed In these the world we open So much to lose and save To light the brightest beacon And the rose of love will bleed And the rays and mountains fade And the day is cast in shade
I listened to this for the very first time sometime in the winter of 2012. I remember it well because as I was listening to the song i had a sudden mystical experience. My mind cleared and I felt I was a Consciousness that went deeper than my body, deeper than my mind. In that stillness of the mind I could watch my thoughts drifting by like clouds on the background of an eternally blue sky. At some point I felt the gap between my thoughts and the still Consciousness was getting narrower, and I was about to lose that state. It suddenly occurred to me that it was I who had chosen that, that I had willingly agreed (at some time that I could not quite remember) to forget that I was the eternal "I AM"... And that everything, including losing the higher consciousness state, was as it should be. With this thought came laughter because of some understanding of the irony of the Game of Life. Thank you Eno, for giving us good music conducive to such states!
And then so clear to wonder To wake with open eyes As the snow across the tundra And the rain across the skies And the rain across the skies So much again and weightless In the motherworld of space We fail to form to come to And the razor mountains fade And the day is cursed in shame In these the world we open So much to lose to save To light the highest beacons And the rose of love will bleed And the rose of love…
The album for music for airports has lulled me to sleep on transcontinental midnight flights for years now. He truly is a genius. I started off as a Here Comes The Warm Jets fan, like most, and I'd already been a fan of The Talking Heads, but when someone brought up the connection that's when I started exploring the different faces of Eno. He's one of the major defining figures of my love of music. Keep telling people to try Eno. There's an Eno phase for everyone... :-)
Well done my Brian Eno, now I can sleep very well and feel happiness. Sometimes I'm floating around the Universe, sometimes I'm a little part of one Star 🌟...

Maravilhosa canção, nos leva a voar acima das nuvens, ao encontro com as estrelas, com a Luz do Criador. Brian Eno é um artista extremamente inspirado e sensível.

I agree. I think Ambient music and Analog samplings are great inventions, and works as a producer are really great. He is also a heir of Erik Satie and John Cage.
This song was first featured on NPR's "Echoes". They had done a home visit to Eno's house and he played this song to them. At the time Brian Eno wasn't thinking about releasing even an album. about a year and a half later he released änother day on earth" featuring this track. The whole album is really good, but i think this one is the best
I always think if they fail to notice what's good about something they're probably not people I'd bother talking with anyway so their opinion is inconsequential.
Brian eno such a classy unsung hero. I wish he and Alan Wilder collaborate someday. That would be epic. By The way Mr eno is Intelligent, he really showed this during The b.p oil spill great song!!!

Great observation, Galen! I didn’t know the piece until I looked it up and heard the notes being played at the end of the song. Thank you for sharing! -Devin
Whoa! Imagine the reality of that wish coming true. You know that you'll hear this song just before you die. Every time you hear this song, you'll be filled with the possible impending end of it all. That happens even twice and you're going to spend time avoiding hearing this song. No?

Wouldn't worry too much. Every good video has to have a few thumbs down. Just adds to the viewing figure so there's always a positive.
It'll take them 40 years to catch up. No need to worry 'bout 'em.
