I had a sidecar and absolutely loved it. It freaked people out when I flipped up onto 2 wheels and had the sidecar in the air. Now I am back on 2 wheels, I would love another outfit, but a sidecar now will cost more tham by bike is worth, in fact, it is dearer than the bike was brand new.
An excellent video, this made me want to get another motorcycle and this time get a sidecar.
Love the Urals (esp the tricked 3WD at 6.00), and the MZ at 7.00 is sublime, but the slow-tickover of the Harley at 3.00 makes it sound like it is actually breathing.
The very first clip makes me say "just take the fucking car!"

The bicycle one is bad ass. The evo w the cam sounded tasty.
I like the leading link setup on the GS at 5:00. The gas tank is huge. It does not look stock. This is a proper set up for a side car motorcycle.

i went to a sidecar rally in the north Georgia mountains back in 1998 loved it many awesome machines .im a fan for life, maybe someday i will get one

First clip made me want my GL1500 with Watsonian RX4 sidecar back...we had the 1800 but I preferred the 15.To be honest, I preferred the Watsonian Oxford sidecar, but that was too big for our garage (the Daimler would fit!)
the very best part of a sidecar is when no one is riding with you,you can carry more gas and fewer stops in towns,state to state is great,side cars rock, more stability in high winds
At the rallies, a side car "passenger" is doing a lot of work. Very important member of the team.

Before i got a car, i used to take my mother shopping in my motor cycle combo, but as both my parents got older i had to change to a car asalthough mum was happy in the sidecar, dad didn't have the strength in his hands to hang on behind me. Great times (🇬🇧).

Boy oh boy you're wrong - its way more fun than the MR2 and MX5 I recently had (never mind an ordinary car), even more practical than those 2-seaters for carrying 3 (and in some cases 4) people AND the pup etc. Easier and quicker to get-in-and out/park than the claustrophobic 2002 Mustang V8 I sold last year. Most can be reverted to a solo easily anyway! Its hilariously entertaining for the pilot at any speed and makes one look for any excuse to run errands or go for a picnic at the beach etc, everyone wants another ride - something no car, in my experience, can match. They predate cars and just look awesome - well, my military airhead R100 BMW rig and the retro manual 2-stroke Vespa PX200 at least do. So yeah, I have/had countless nice bikes (currently DR650, 950 ADV KTM, 998s Duc, ZX10R, slabby gsxr750, Beta trials, 625SMC, dirt bikes for trail rides with kids etc) but we can't get enough of the sidecar fun, so now have 2 outfits that I'd never want to sell. No town traffic at all here to filter through so the width is a non-issue and its actually a great advantage in been seen at intersections (headlight on the sidecar as well), I work from home so these are just for fun. They can be used with more confidence year round as snow/black-ice is far more manageable (front wheel can't wash out) with a rigid sidecar outfit. Flying the chair (which I do all the time) gives the 2 wheel feeling - try that with a miata etc.

Love sidecars. My HD rig is for the street and long distance, had Beemer and a Honda rig for same over the ages. My Urals, mid distance and just going out to beat the crap out of them having fun! Pity, none of my videos were worthy of inclusion here. Will work on that. ;-)

I took my Kawa with sidecar out in a moderate snowstorm...about 6 inches max....it was a blast...on the way to work, I was getting high fives from everyone....3 days later my stop light switch stopped working...3 weeks later the bottom of my mufflers rusted out..........never did it again...
I rode mine in a snowstorm, wiping my goggles with my finger every three seconds got pretty old but it was fun.

I think the advantage of motorcycle is inline 2 wheels. If I'm supposed to ride this, I'd rather drive a car.
