I love that you focused on his backstory and the reasons why he acts the way he does. The scene where he got someone’s phone number was so sweet but also sad. He only had one number, and it was essentially a weather subscription. That’s how little he has in his life. His phone was literally on the factory default mode. A person’s phone is often a reflection of themselves, as it tends to always be on the person and the most personal things about them are on their phone. He doesn’t really use it because he has no one to talk to and it’s so bare as a reflection of his personal life. Sakura deserves so much more 😭😭

I saw someone say that ume’s backstory was sadder than sakuras when we don’t even know his. It could be so much worse than we think. I’m bracing myself. I thought the phone scene was SO SAD AAA 😭

Another theory (not that I’ve actually watched the show or read the manga yet 😬) could be that his parents kept him but completely neglected and ignored him. He still had a place to live, but he never given attention or love, and they probably wouldn’t have cared to help him find a place to live near his new school. He probably had to find it on his own with no outside help.
This is why I like this mc in the manga it’s not a rushed development at all he doesn’t understand the treatment or know how to react to the way he’s being treated by during high👌

Hey could any manga reader answer a few questions for me please? 😅😃 You see I just finished the anime, and am most likely going to go read the manga because I can’t wait lmao, but I wanted to know if we discover how Haruka lives atm, as he has 0 contacts except for that weather thing, did he run away from home? Or was he kicked out by his parents? If he lives alone in a small apartment does he work then? To pay bills etc or did his parents give him enough to survive on his own for a while? He doesn’t seem to be anxious about that either Also is Furin free as they’re only students, no teachers, director etc? And lastly when he had his uniform on the day before the start of the school year he said it was because he didn’t have anything else to wear, if he was kicked out I would think his parents gave him his belongings before that and if he ran away too, I think he could have brought some things with him, that’s a lot of questions sorry about that, but I figured here would be better than to google it without finding real answers ☺️ thanks in advance if you’ve read through all that :) Oh yeah and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are no answers to that yet, or if we will ever have answers in the manga XD Edit: just reached 11:16 and we see his house oops 😂
@@kpopismylifeuuu9522 yea so in the manga (I haven’t read it all cuz spoilers but I do know this) you see his house when he’s sick and his way of life and how shabby it is and that it’s basically abandoned and though it never explains why he lives that way and if he has a guardian supporting him or not Suo and Nirei show a lot of concern for it because everything is dirty and he never eats proper food unless it’s something kotoha makes. Annoyingly it’s not actually revealed his backstory yet or how he’s currently living. I think we may know soon? But it’s uncertain. And I don’t know if the video was too fast for you to read it, but Suo and Nirei basically have a whole conversation of how Sakura isn’t used to affection what so ever and how every time he’s been sick he just has to wait it out alone without medicine or anything at all which could’ve even made him worse. They talk abiut how he doesn’t have the mental capacity to deal with something he’s not used to feeling since obviously peoples affection makes him defensive as it is but when he’s that ill and out of it Suo thought it best to just leave for the time being as to not freak him out even more. Thiugh, kotoha stays longer to give him food that isn’t instant ramen. Hope this helps a little though I know it’s not much. Plus, we’ve seen like everyone else’s backstories (not sure abiut kotoha) so sakuras turn will likely be soon 👍👍

@@yumiko9974 in the latest chapters, when the fight between him and endo is closing and he collapses for a short few minutes his leg is practically bent in half as he lays there on the ground. Then when he leaves to find umemiya endo has to help him limp. I’m not a manga reader for windbreaker not always I only read this much to get all the information right for this video and even though it never said his leg was broken ima take a while guess and say that injury was likely a break

I just know that he and endo were helping eachother walk and that when he walked over to endo when he just woke up from being unconscious he was limping after seeing his leg in the completely wrong direction. I purposely looked into it a lot cuz I wanted to know if I was right
@@midnightgacha9999 okayy I reread it and there's nothing about a broken leg haha It was saying "drag" when he walked over to Endo, maybe it was just hurting a bit or he was tired? idk but he even helped Endo up the stairs so I don't think it was broken. If you see his leg you’ll know it doesn’t look right and dragging is worse than limping for broken leg. Limping would make you actually step on the leg whereas dragging would mean to too painting to hold up and put gill weight on. It doesn’t say anything about it but it looked broken to me and I checked a lot and it never says it isn’t broken so I don’t think it really matters 😅

Hey could any manga reader answer a few questions for me please? 😅😃
You see I just finished the anime, and am most likely going to go read the manga because I can’t wait lmao, but I wanted to know if we discover how Haruka lives atm, as he has 0 contacts except for that weather thing, did he run away from home? Or was he kicked out by his parents? If he lives alone in a small apartment does he work then? To pay bills etc or did his parents give him enough to survive on his own for a while? He doesn’t seem to be anxious about that either
Also is Furin free as they’re only students, no teachers, director etc? And lastly when he had his uniform on the day before the start of the school year he said it was because he didn’t have anything else to wear, if he was kicked out I would think his parents gave him his belongings before that and if he ran away too, I think he could have brought some things with him, that’s a lot of questions sorry about that, but I figured here would be better than to google it without finding real answers ☺️ thanks in advance if you’ve read through all that :)
Oh yeah and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are no answers to that yet, or if we will ever have answers in the manga XD

@@kpopismylifeuuu9522 yea so in the manga (I haven’t read it all cuz spoilers but I do know this) you see his house when he’s sick and his way of life and how shabby it is and that it’s basically abandoned and though it never explains why he lives that way and if he has a guardian supporting him or not Suo and Nirei show a lot of concern for it because everything is dirty and he never eats proper food unless it’s something kotoha makes. Annoyingly it’s not actually revealed his backstory yet or how he’s currently living. I think we may know soon? But it’s uncertain. And I don’t know if the video was too fast for you to read it, but Suo and Nirei basically have a whole conversation of how Sakura isn’t used to affection what so ever and how every time he’s been sick he just has to wait it out alone without medicine or anything at all which could’ve even made him worse. They talk abiut how he doesn’t have the mental capacity to deal with something he’s not used to feeling since obviously peoples affection makes him defensive as it is but when he’s that ill and out of it Suo thought it best to just leave for the time being as to not freak him out even more. Thiugh, kotoha stays longer to give him food that isn’t instant ramen.
Hope this helps a little though I know it’s not much. Plus, we’ve seen like everyone else’s backstories (not sure abiut kotoha) so sakuras turn will likely be soon 👍👍

I want to learn more about him so badly! And I want others to know and understand him better too. Ngl, especially Ren Kaji cuz he really doesn’t understand Haruka at all and finds the way he reacts to things odd (not in a bad way just a bit confused why he acts that way to such nonchalant things) I feel like knowing why would he do interesting of a reaction to see. Especially since ren helps Haruka in the manga at some point I read it it was so nice to see someone who had also found a home and people who accepted him, make sure someone else does too. Though, it will probably be a lot harder some Haruka to accept cuz of obvious issues :> hey, you have discord? If you do, I’d love to talk about anime with you more sometime!

As a manga reader, I don't remember any aituation where Sakura's leg was broken. I dont underatand what that was anout lol
@@yumiko9974 in the latest chapters, when the fight between him and endo is closing and he collapses for a short few minutes his leg is practically bent in half as he lays there on the ground. Then when he leaves to find umemiya endo has to help him limp. I’m not a manga reader for windbreaker not always I only read this much to get all the information right for this video and even though it never said his leg was broken ima take a while guess and say that injury was likely a break

I just know that he and endo were helping eachother walk and that when he walked over to endo when he just woke up from being unconscious he was limping after seeing his leg in the completely wrong direction. I purposely looked into it a lot cuz I wanted to know if I was right
@@midnightgacha9999 okayy I reread it and there's nothing about a broken leg haha It was saying "drag" when he walked over to Endo, maybe it was just hurting a bit or he was tired? idk but he even helped Endo up the stairs so I don't think it was broken. Doesn't really matter anyway, do as you want to haha
@@yumiko9974 I already know it never explicitly said. Go back to the point where he and endo passed out on the ground. If you see his leg you’ll know it doesn’t look right and dragging is worse than limping for broken leg. Limping would make you actually step on the leg whereas dragging would mean to too painting to hold up and put gill weight on. It doesn’t say anything about it but it looked broken to me and I checked a lot and it never says it isn’t broken so I don’t think it really matters 😅
