Also, if you cheat on your partner and expect your friends to cover for you, you're putting your guilt and lies onto THEM. That's not fair. In this case, please cut off the tumor from your life. If you want a relationship with it, keep it in a jar in the basement and go to it when you want to talk, but there is no reason to keep that cancer spreading in your life.

It does help that you have fruends that align with your ethics as those are quite important to us as people.
