@@Karoshi000 it's a ranked mode that's flexible* with the number of players allowed to enter as a party this is in contrast to the other ranked queue which is "solo/duo" the distinction is created to avoid situations where a premade "stack" (like Yuuhi and co. is doing in this video) is matched up versus a team comprised of random solo queue players (which may be significantly less coordinated)
*"flexible" footnote: you are not required to have a full team of 5 players to join the queue; teams of size 1, 2, 3, and 5 are allowed idk if it's still the same nowadays, but teams of 4 are usually not allowed to queue to avoid weird behavior
thats the unfortunate reality when EU is 20% of playerbase and JP is only like 1% (all rough estimates) rioters says china is like 88% of playerbase with their tens of server and the superserver so maybe EU chall is CN diamond
