That looked like an awesome adventure! Amazed by how reliable your roadster is! She can take a beating and just keeps going! Thanks for taking us along! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward!
Hands down, the BEST nostalgia drag race event in the entire Pacific Northwest. It's an annual event that we don't miss. We travel 700 miles every year to attend and it's well worth it. Completely badass cars, great people, camping out at the race track every night, beautiful setting, old school outlaw track, making as many runs as you'd like to, it's just pure awesomeness. Can't wait for the Estranged Drags 2025!!
..that was great big fun, Lux, Shannon and Lee....all the old school machinery was a time capsule, and nice to know that in 2024, folks still care.........thanks....
WOW! Hey Lee, Shannon & Lux! Many thanks for taking us along with you! We could almost smell the burnouts from here LOL We're in Southern Ontario. Great driving Shannon! And the Best Roadster in show too! My husband and I watch your channel together & are amazed at the range of techniques you showcase in building your cars. Very much like you two, we enjoy (wallow) in our car hobby fun together! Great editing & Tunes! Please keep the fun coming! :D
That’s awesome to hear! I’ve never been to Ontario, but it looks like there is some great car culture out there. Jim that works with me in the shop is from St Thomas. And my 32 sedan project I bought from a guy in Tillsonburg.
Fun stuff! Nothing like spending some time on a Saturday at the drag strip. Congrats on the award! Plus - excited - Piero and Luck are back on the Tweedy Pie tribute car.
Thanks for sharing and pretty neat stuff with the flathead V8s. You showed Port Angeles. That was my hometown and although small we had a good car culture there in the 60s. Full race flatheads for me back then first with a Model A then later a 40 Ford deluxe.
Love it not bad for a vintage flathead. And a seasoned drive, Shannon also did a great job. Not bad Shannon, you work on cars, a mother and now racing. As I said Lee you are a lucky man. Great race. Mark, Montana
Great video! That was quite a memorable weekend with family, racing and getting a well-deserved award. Last but not least - nothing broke! Tough little flattie. Cheers
You were correct that you should have gone through Port Angeles to Olympia and down I-5. The last time I went through Seattle it took 4 hours just to get through Seattle!
That’s the way I always prefer to go. Unfortunately the Coho Ferry was booked up when we arrived at 8:00 in the morning. The soonest they could get us on was the 3:30 sailing.
The four of you in the roadster riding down the cool down lane...Priceless!
Awesome event!! Added to my to-do list. Congrats to the whole family.
Wow. That looks like an amazing event. Thanks for the coverage.

I’ve been drag racing off an on for almost 30 years, and this is the most fun I’ve had at a drag strip
Dude!!! Great video!!! That hot rod is strong!!! No breakage!!! Good times!!!✌️
You got that right!

Port Angeles is a cool little town.

Yup. I’m pretty lucky nothing has broke. The black coupe with the 286 flathead broke an axle on Sunday.
Checking in from Michigan love your work
🏁 Very cool!!!! 🏁
Looks like a good family time
It's my favorite family Show 😊
Your living my dream and doing yours !!!
way to go LG family
It’s all about the fun 👍
Shannon did so well you must be well proud
She’s the best
Grassroots level stuff always has the best vibes. I mean - How many other races do a pit bike drag!?
Thanks for taking us with you.
After the races were over for the day they’d open the track up to kids to race their bicycles which I thought was really cool.
@32.28 the green shoebox with a blown flat head was at the Ventura Nationals car show today. Small world!
They get around!
It don’t get better than that!!!
I don't feel relaxed until I'm south of Tacoma Seattle is nuts, that 427 Fairlane in the opening shot is my kind of ride not your style but I love em.
I always prefer to take the Port Angeles route when possible. Not only is Seattle nuts, the border crossing always takes at least an hour.
🥂👍😁😎
I have had 3 flatheads . Their all cracked I installed a sbc now it is reliable
P.s how the cummins!!😎👍
Works great. Just put diesel in the tank, and it keeps going!
that was me in the 371 powered T, sorry about the glasses, did I do that?
Haha yes, must have been you that broke my glasses. I really enjoyed your T. Great car

Love seeing that flatty ripping down the track
trailer turned out great now that your an avid racer , trailer would look good with - LG
