I met her in 1991 in the Molina neighborhood. I was 6 or 7 at the time. Her father is an alumni of my high school Roy Miller High. She smelled like expensive perfume but is one of the most chill and humble celebrity I've ever met very accessible to the people.

Selena passed away a few months before I was even born but my mom loved her and her music so much that I practically grew up on her music. As I grew up I watched so many interviews and old selena videos, she was such a humble genuine person. It painful to think that we didn’t get to see her become even more than what she was 🥺 and I loved that she could bring every culture together
