Just an fyi for the future, if you move your fridge with it laying down you need to leave it standing up right for the same amount of time before plugging it in. It can burn out your sealed system if you dont.
How exciting! I've been waiting for this from you ALL summer. WOW, what a short amount of time you have to set up compared to last year. What a nice spacious room and good storage. Nice progress for Day 1. You're lucky to have help from your mother and a friend. Look forward to Day 2 and ultimately the finished project. Pace yourself and remember not everything has to be perfect doe the first day of school, just operational. And you are lucky to have that back room to hide stuff!

Hey, Kim! You and your new room literally made my day! Are you in a different area of the school now? Your new room is like reversed a bit from your old room! And the floor when you walk in remind me of the fake hardwood floor that the 3-D industrial themed K-Zone at the Moss Campus has at my Church! The K-Zone is where we have the elementary kids at on Sunday morning! Btw, I’m at the Zoar Campus now with GS Kids since I live closer to Zoar! 😍 ❤️Aaron
Looks like a beautiful room! Brand new painted walls and you cover them up with paper... makes me a little sad... the blue is pretty. If it was crumbling yes cover it but it is brand new!
I am just curios on how you get so many books for your room! I am a senior in college going into education and wondering how in the world these young teachers have sooooo many classroom books?!!!

If anyone else is thinking of using the better than paper and worried about the shine, my wall was really shiny for a couple of days and then it wasn’t so shiny. Either the paper just needed time to settle or enough dust settled in the pores of the paper.

I’ll be in the same boat! Our school did a big renovation this summer. We don’t get into our school until Monday and open house is on Thursday.
Sadie B mines under construction and my open house is Thursday too! Feeling the pressure!
