This song brings back memories of growing up in church. Barely working A/C unit, MLK church fans and grandmas butterscotch candy. I can smell the fried chicken being cooked right about now. 🙏🏽
When you get a singer who is honestly not there for form or fashion and knows and understands what they are ministering about, it reflects in every word and movement.
The choir felt it, the church felt it and so did I. God bless this magnificent choir.

My God, that's church. We need to go back and have church like that. People came to church for worship. I grew up watching the What A Fellowship hour. It was the highlight of our city in Baton Rouge. Lord if we could only reach back and start having gospel church like that again. That God for TH-cam. Always will and have enjoyed Rev. Clay Evans and that powerful anointed and appointed choir.

They was singing for real. Now, that is some good churchin' right there. Some churches don't have service that good anymore, nor sing songs that good. If only a praise break would have broke out after that. That song was so powerful..

Love these old time religion songs. My mother had a beautiful alto voice and she would sing all these old songs to us. We are 8 girls and 1 boy and we all still sing. God given talent. God surely been good to me.. sang Shirley
