that’s what i’m doing too! currently on the tandem read. what’s helped me is reading palette cleansers in between them, cause sometimes tog can be a little overwhelming! good luck with your tog journey, i hope you guys LOVE IT!🩷
These are some great questions. 1. a book you tell people is your favorite Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and The Seven Year Slip 2. a book that is your guilty pleasure Twilight, Fourth Wing, and the Shadow Falls series 3. a book everyone loved but you didn’t Cruel Prince trilogy and the Caraval series 4. a book you read the fastest Funny Story by: Emily Henry and Fourth Wing by: Rebecca Yarros 5. a book that deserves more hype Born at Midnight the first book in the Shadow Fall series because if you enjoy Twilight you will enjoy this series as well as the Morganville Vampire series. I feel like paranormal doesn't get enough love. 6. a book that is becoming a movie/tv show Beach Read 7. a book that you reread the most Harry Potter series, Twilight, the Shadow Fall series, and Fruits Basket manga series 8. a book from a genre you don’t typically read The Do Over by: Lynn Painter 9. a book that deserves all the hype it gets A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Wings and Ruin 10. a book you usually recommend when asked to give a recommendation The Seven Year Slip 11. a book that has your favorite characters Harry Potter 12. a book you wish you could live in Harry Potter 13. a book you thought you would hate but ended up loving Beach Read 14. a book that made you cry A Court of Wings and Ruin 15. a book you wish you could read for the first time Harry Potter series and A Court of Thorns and Roses series
16. a book that could cure a reading slump Harry Potter, Twilight, and Fourth Wing 17. a book you think everyone needs to read The Naturals, Throne of Glass (on my list), and Shadowhunter series 18. a book you think would make an amazing movie Eva Evergreen, and the Semi-Magical Witch 19. a book you wish everyone would give a shot even if it’s out of their comfort zone The Shadow Fall series because not everyone paranormal series is the same and I enjoyed this series so much. 20. a book you’ll never forget Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Some mystery book recommendations I have are: How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin, The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton, One of us is lying by Karen m. McManus, Little White Lies by Jennifer Lynne Barnes, and Five Survive by Holly Jackson. Let me know if you plan to read any of these if you haven’t already and if any interest you.
emma smith is my fav ya mystery author!! guided and wasted are a duology that i loved and she also has a stand alone called dead fine which is a thriller type book too! :)
i have a tog reading vlog coming out soon, and it will explain everything in that video! as for emily henry: 1. beach read 2. happy place 3. book lovers 4. funny story (i haven’t read people we meet on vacation yet)
it doesn’t matter, they are all stand alones, BUT… I would recommend starting with her oldest one and work your way to her newest. her writing keeps on getting better and better!
@@KarlyJoI knowww, I got 4 of her books for my birthday, I just wasn’t sure like which one to read first, just to get into her writing 🩷 But thank you, I’ll definitely do this. When you talk about the First one, is it “The Love that split the world”? I never heard anyone talking about it, just the “big 5”
totally get that! i honestly wasn’t too sure about nesta either and her book was just kind of eh to me. i kind of want to reread it tho, cause i feel like it deserves a better chance
It would be helpful for us who are not familiar with these books if you could say the title and author just a little slower while showing the cover better. Sometimes it is confusing to me. Thank you.
A book everyone loves but you don’t. For that one I have to say city of bones I read it in January and didn’t like it much at all. I gave it a low three star. It just wasn’t for me and felt like for a much younger audience. I feel like it’s for 12-14 year olds and I’m an adult but still a teen so a new adult. I may have liked it when I was younger but I don’t now. I’d also have to say the tainted cup. It’s new, popular and a lot of people like it! I just didn’t like it that much. I gave it a higher 3 stars than city of bones but still not great. It had a lot of unnecessary language and a gay undertone that I noticed more towards the end. It was ok but not great overall but better than city of bones. I also didn’t like any of the throne of glass books. They had too much spice for me and it kind of took away from the book and pulled me out of it. a book I read the fastest. I read all the Harry Potter books in one summer when I was in fifth grade. I also read all three books in the hazel woods series in like a day and a half. I loved those so much! A book that deserves more hype. I have two answers for this. A Forgery of Roses by Jessica S. Olsen, and The Forgotten Book by Mechthild Gläser. These are two of my favorite books ever and both five stars. I read the forgotten book in one day it was so good! I highly recommend both fantasy books. A book that is becoming a movie/tv show. One that I’m super excited for is The Search for WondLA. It’s my favorite middle grade sci-fi/fantasy book that I recommend to anyone no matter how old. It’s becoming a tv show on Apple TV in July and I can not wait. A book that I’ve reread the most. Probably either the first hunger games, the first Rangers appearance, or the 7th Harry Potter. I love all three of them and think they are fantastic reads. A book from a genre I don’t normally read. That would have to be When in Rome by Sara Adams. I don’t normally read romance I’ve maybe read 5 at the most. I just read it a few weeks ago and so far it’s my top read of 2024 I love it so much! A book that deserves all the hype it gets. That would have to be the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Series. That is one of my top five favorite series ever! I love it so much! I totally recommend it to everyone 15+! It’s the best thing I’ve ever read! The book i recommend the most. The book i recommend a lot is probably the lunar chronicles series. It is my all time favorite series ever and will literally recommend it to anyone. Anyone 12+ go read it! A book I wish I could live in would be Harry Potter but only if I could be a witch and go to Hogwarts. A book I thought I’d hate but actually loved was hello stranger by Katherine Center. I had never read a romance book before but my friend gave it to me to try. I ended up loving it and have read several other romance books since then and will be reading more. A book you think everyone needs to read. I would say the A Thousand Pieces of you series. It’s an amazing sci-fi series that anyone 13+ should read! It’s one of my all time favorites! A book you think would be an amazing movie. A book I think would be a good movie would have to be the rangers apprentice series or the Fablehaven series. These are two amazing middle grade series that I think everyone should read! They are fantastic and would make great movies if done right. A book everyone should read even if it’s out of there comfort zone. Everyone should read either Project Hail Mary or Shatter me. Project Hail Mary is a sci-fi and shatter me is a dystopian. Both are amazing! Anyone should read them even if it’s not your genre. The sci-fi one is hilarious and the dystopian one has a good romance of you like that. I’d recommend both 15+. Sorry for the long post here’s a 🥔.
Omg the queen Sara just mentioned you in her latest vlog!!! I’m so excited for you🤩🤩🤩 I’ve been subscribed for awhile and LOVE your videos so much 😍🥰😍

omg yes so many good recs! I personally feel like i cant get into a new fantasy book until i complete tog series 😭🫶🏽
Omg SAME- and the worst part is that I’m in a reading slump , so like reading a big series sure isn’t helping

YES PLEASE DO !!!
🫶🏻 which Emily Henry would you recommend to read first?
That's a good question. What is your favorite trope and do you prefer romance or story when it comes to
a book?
it doesn’t matter, they are all stand alones, BUT… I would recommend starting with her oldest one and work your way to her newest. her writing keeps on getting better and better!

YES, we love a little ye haw!

I have not finished the ACOTAR because I haven't read Nesta's book yet. Just the way she treated Feyra was so shitty, not sure I'll be ready for it.

I just read better than the movies last week and loved it! I rated it 5 stars and it’s amazing! I will recommend it to anyone!
ahhhh yes we love better than the movies🥰
I hated the cruel prince too I DNFd it not even half way it was so boring and I hated the bully romance thing.
i get it, just wasn’t for me either!
