The villain in today's movies is not bashed up, but cut into pieces, with blood being shown spurting out of body parts. He is chopped into pieces. His neck is chopped off, with blood spurting 3-4 feet in the air. The impression of all this on the kids today is such that, they think it's normal !! No wonder the kids today are an extremely violent lot.
