What is difficult is that as DVDs get phased out there is no way to say NO to the TV and only what you as a parent provide. Reg TV can be switched at the touch of a button. My kids are allowed to watch DVDs (which still exist for now) of what we allow. It's almost exclusively the golden oldies.....Old Yeller, Parent Trap, LHOTP, Davey Crockett, Leave.....Beaver, Ozzie and Harriet, Lucy, Father Knows Best, the old My Friend Flicka series, the old Dennis the Menace series, Andy Griffith, Apple Dumpling Gang, Black Stallion and maybe half a dozen others, AND THATS IT!.....(and that's enough!)

It was so disheartening and troubling to hear recently that there are parents who would actually take their children to a "Drag Queen Bible reading time" at their church. It's confounding to me how this church and the parents feel that this aligns with Biblical teachings and values. It is so refreshing to hear and uplift my spirit, knowing that there are parents who have refused to expose their children to the liberal agenda. There's tons of stuff to download and have it on usb as well. I grew up in a Communist country and we had wayyyyyyy less to watch than you guys here and it didn't harm as at all. It was actually better. I had real friends we spent time together and with the family. My kids are allowed to watch very very little of cartoons from the dvd or usb and no phones. I didn't have the phone and here I am, they don't need it either. Home school them, buy them canaries, guinea pigs or rabbits to take care for and nurture some sense of duty and responsibility that way, make it a hobby and life for them will be zillion times better.
