Hello, Dkayed. I've analyzed whether the sales deals were worth it (financially). The short answer is: YES. I will explain my reasoning in detail below. From the sales deals, you got 151 packs for $120.93. This amounts to an average cost of about $0.80 per pack. The normal deals get you 36 packs for $29.99, which translates to about $0.83 per pack. Thus, you would need to spend a little over $125 via the normal deals to acquire the same number of packs (i.e., 151 packs). Conclusion: You saved yourself about $5, so the sales deals were financially worth it (albeit not by a large margin). Bear in mind that this analysis was done without taking into consideration the fact that the sales deals give you extra SR and UR cards, which adds a bit more value to them. P.S. You spent a total of $350.83 + 4,800 gems and opened a total of 477 packs. Since each box has 180 packs (540 for three boxes), you saved yourself from opening 63 packs.

Which is absolutely make sense for him but as viewer we really appreciate him but again where is the suffering here is win win situation.
In comparison to using the normal purchases the "special" deals are indeed better. You get the same amount of packs opened if not more (ie 10 packs for 6$ is more than 7 packs for 6$, plus you get an sr). When i used to play duel links the thing that made these deals better though was that the guaranteed sr/ur are pulled outside of the box count meaning that if you want a specific ur from a box and you get one from the deal it could mean one less box reset which in my eyes was always worth the gamble.

I don't know if you will read this, but let me just say. The deals do help if you feel the savings are worth it. They seem to be saving money if you just straight out look at them with what the 30 pack purchase or the 10 pack purchase provide, you might think ok, 30$ for 36 packs and an SR and UR is awesome when compared to the 5 pack purchase, the 'deals' are basically taking extra money and guarantee some random SR and UR. To put it simply, the 5 pack purchase that's available is basically 4.99$ to provide 5 packs and 50 gems. The 30 pack purchase is 29.99$ for 30 packs and 300 gems, notice how this is exactly 6 times what the 5 pack purchase offers but, if you multiply 4.99$ with 6 you get 29.94$. Just like that you are spending 0.05$ more and the deals basically getting 1SR and 1UR extra for that 0.05$. If to you that is fine, then the deals are worth it. Sorry for any English grammar errors
The deals provide 3 UR. You can potentially save a lot IF on the third go-through you pull all the other UR you don't have 3 of. For instance, if your URs had been Convocation, Sun Dragon, and Rabbit, you would need only 5 URs from the third go-through

Imagine spending hundreds of $$$ on virtual cards...I know Dkayed does it for content and all that but still I just can't help but think of Konami as a greedy company. Hieratics are awesome. I remember playing some Blue-Eyes/Hieratic deck back in... 2013? Before White Stone of Ancients, Sage, and all that other Blue-Eyes support was released at least. I played the loaner deck duel and managed to get both Overdragon and Atum on the board first turn and OTK'd, I'd totally pull to build a Hieratics deck if I had the gems lol.
Honestly, I'm just glad we have almost completely unrestricted access to Noble Knights, now. I think the only cards we have yet to be able to get easily are "Avalon," the trap-card, "Bedyr" or whatever his name was, Excaliburn, "Last Chapter of the Noble Knights," "Ignoble Knight of Black Landsalayn" (the one that was based off "Lancelot" or whatever, from the Knights of the Round Table) and "Joan." That, Star Seraphs, and the Constellar. And there's always more Number cards, so that's cool.
Ok for everyone wondering if the deals are worth it: The first 3 deals have less cost then regular ones plus the extra SR card(first is 66 cents per pack, second is 60 cents per pack, third is 66 cents per pack) the other sales have the regular cost with 83 cents per pack. So if you want to wale on the box its pretty much the same, unless you get lucky with the extra SR/UR and can reset quickly. There is normally another pack sale where you get extra gems instead of extra SR/UR which would be better for waleing. At least its not worse than regular packs, but it could make you made for getting one SR 6 or 7 times lol
It's good idea to spend money with deals, since you get more packs or extra gems with less money and a low chance to skip a BOX opening if you pull a needed SR/UR card. Example: If you want to build a Fire King deck from Rage of Volcano cards (you don't care other cards), you want 3 Arvata, with deals you have a 10% chance to skip the BOX if you pulled and Arvata from there.
Seeing something like this hurts even if it's not my own money, imagine the amount of other videogames, consoles someone could buy with these box openings and those things are permanent, this is from a game that is gonna be shut down some day ( I know he Is spending what he wins while streaming please don't come with the brainless response "iTs His oWn mOnEY" we know that already

The special deals usually cost the same as the normal deals (for example 36 packs for 30 $ and the normal deal is 30 packs + 300 gems which is the same). The benefit of the specials are obviously the extra SR and UR cards but dependent on what you want out of the box they can be much better or pretty much the same as the normal deals. The deals decrease in value the more cards you're trying to pull out of the box. If you want (pretty much) a 3of of every card from the box then it is very unlikely that the special deals will save you any money for not having to dig very deep into the last box because you already have the card/s that are left in the box 3 times. If you're just trying to get a few UR/SR cards then the special deal is more likely to be more valuable. In your situation the specials are not better than the normal deals but also not worse; if they would be more expensive than the normal deals then you would have to think about it. You could say they are always better than the normal deals because you can trade the extra cards for gold and SR/UR jewels which is only really benfitial to those who don't already have every sinlge card trader card 3 times (even those out of the catalogue).

Dkayed! On your first box, you skipped opening 24 packs! Name of the game in "is it worth it" is skipping packs IF you're trying to open 3 of everything. The hurdle is UR cards, SR cards don't matter in bulk purchase setting for main box. You spent 500 gems with 29 packs left needing Sun Dragon & Stick. After opening, there were 175 packs in the next box. From those 500 gems, you pulled Sun Dragon & Stick. You must have pulled them in 5 packs.
Alright I actually bothered doing the math because I am a nerd. So as a reference I used the worst case scenario of having to purchase the entirety of all 3 boxes using the standard cash options. Obviously with RNG you could get lucky and you probably have gems but that's the best approximation I can use. So that would require you to buy 15 of the $29.99 since those give you 36 packs (if you include the gems) and there are 540 total packs if you go through the box 3 times. Thus, this costs $449.85 in total. Now let's compare this to Dkayed's opening. I had to make a small approximation and counted 50 in game gems as being worth $0.99. These included all gems he had when the video started and any he collected, but not any that were received from the pack deals since those were already accounted for. I say this is an approximation as when you buy one of the 5,10, or 30 pack deals the cash conversion per pack becomes $0.83 by including the gems. But I digress. Using this model, he spent $432.30, meaning he saved $17.55 over the absolute worst case scenario of having to buy a full 3 boxes. So final verdict? Considering that he saved around 30 packs at the end of a single one of those resets, I would say that in this case the deal was probably a rip off. Too many of them revolve around guaranteed Super Rares which you'll already have like 6 of by the time you're done. But again this is all completely RNG dependent so I'm not sure how well this works out for others, or even for Mini Boxes for that matter.
I got 40 packs with only Gems this box! Went for Heliopolis; got it, an RR, and a Batlamyus. Very glad I didn’t have to delve much this time. Next up Galaxies! :)
The deals are absolutely worth it honestly. The pack deal where it was like 50 packs for $15 though was like absurd. I dont see us ever getting that deal again.
Konami needs to implement a conversion system where (let’s say you have 9 URs of the same card pulled from boxes) you would be able to trade like 6 of that card to obtain 1 UR from the new box, in that way you could trade the remaining copies that you don’t use and it wouldn’t be there just as a useless collection.
Pack deals with sr and ur are much better for mini boxes, because you dont get the SR glut you get from a mainbox. The value is much weaker when opening a mainbox because you still want the urs and still have to dig, for main boxes the packs plus gem sales are a better value because you use the gems to dig. This is not me saying the sr ur sale isn't good value for a mainbox but its value is more rng, if you dont pull duplicates ur from the sale or the 3rd box it can save you some money but experience has shown me to not count on this.
Judging from the last box I spent money on. My answer to the deals being worth it is yes and no. Yes, it's worth it maybe even better because I feel like I'm saving more money than spending over 30 to 60 to 90 dollars on the 30 dollar purchase, and it gives you those guarantees. However, it's also a no because even tho it gives you the guarantee SR's and UR's it does not always give you the card you want. Despite the chance of still getting unlucky after paying the money, I believe the deals are worth it because your potentially spending less money. To put it short, I rather spend a possible $100 than a possible $900. The deals are kinda worth it but it can be also not worth it due to the luck aspect.
this is the reason i really stopped playing the game due to monthly $300 begging company to just get a set of ur for a deck that almost cant work without them once in a higher ranking mode and its pretty annoying im not going to waste my money on a game like this to see it later in the future to most likely get taken offline for good and now all that money is permantly gone
And the most annoying thing is that you can't do anything with extra copies of UR and SR this game is made just to earn money and then they will going to take it down one day after scamming ppl

I dont really think the deals past the first stage are worth it, if they guaranteed a UR from the start it would be but there's two of each SR in main boxes. The SR deals aren't very valuable. It'd be different if they had a trade in system in place for boxes where you use like 5 SRs and like 1,000,000 gold to construct a UR you want. (SRs from that box)

Name of the game in "is it worth it" is skipping packs IF you're trying to open 3 of everything. The hurdle is UR cards, SR cards don't matter in bulk purchase setting for main box. You spent 500 gems with 29 packs left needing Sun Dragon & Stick. After opening, there were 175 packs in the next box. From those 500 gems, you pulled Sun Dragon & Stick. You must have pulled them in 5 packs.
Alright I actually bothered doing the math because I am a nerd. So as a reference I used the worst case scenario of having to purchase the entirety of all 3 boxes using the standard cash options. Obviously with RNG you could get lucky and you probably have gems but that's the best approximation I can use. So that would require you to buy 15 of the $29.99 since those give you 36 packs (if you include the gems) and there are 540 total packs if you go through the box 3 times. Thus, this costs $449.85 in total.
Now let's compare this to Dkayed's opening. I had to make a small approximation and counted 50 in game gems as being worth $0.99. These included all gems he had when the video started and any he collected, but not any that were received from the pack deals since those were already accounted for. I say this is an approximation as when you buy one of the 5,10, or 30 pack deals the cash conversion per pack becomes $0.83 by including the gems. But I digress. Using this model, he spent $432.30, meaning he saved $17.55 over the absolute worst case scenario of having to buy a full 3 boxes.
So final verdict? Considering that he saved around 30 packs at the end of a single one of those resets, I would say that in this case the deal was probably a rip off. Too many of them revolve around guaranteed Super Rares which you'll already have like 6 of by the time you're done. But again this is all completely RNG dependent so I'm not sure how well this works out for others, or even for Mini Boxes for that matter.

The deals are absolutely worth it honestly. The pack deal where it was like 50 packs for $15 though was like absurd. I dont see us ever getting that deal again.
Konami needs to implement a conversion system where (let’s say you have 9 URs of the same card pulled from boxes) you would be able to trade like 6 of that card to obtain 1 UR from the new box, in that way you could trade the remaining copies that you don’t use and it wouldn’t be there just as a useless collection.
But then people spend less money on the new box
So konami will never do something like that

Pack deals with sr and ur are much better for mini boxes, because you dont get the SR glut you get from a mainbox. The value is much weaker when opening a mainbox because you still want the urs and still have to dig, for main boxes the packs plus gem sales are a better value because you use the gems to dig. This is not me saying the sr ur sale isn't good value for a mainbox but its value is more rng, if you dont pull duplicates ur from the sale or the 3rd box it can save you some money but experience has shown me to not count on this.

Judging from the last box I spent money on. My answer to the deals being worth it is yes and no. Yes, it's worth it maybe even better because I feel like I'm saving more money than spending over 30 to 60 to 90 dollars on the 30 dollar purchase, and it gives you those guarantees. However, it's also a no because even tho it gives you the guarantee SR's and UR's it does not always give you the card you want. Despite the chance of still getting unlucky after paying the money, I believe the deals are worth it because your potentially spending less money. To put it short, I rather spend a possible $100 than a possible $900. The deals are kinda worth it but it can be also not worth it due to the luck aspect.
this is the reason i really stopped playing the game due to monthly $300 begging company to just get a set of ur for a deck that almost cant work without them once in a higher ranking mode and its pretty annoying im not going to waste my money on a game like this to see it later in the future to most likely get taken offline for good and now all that money is permantly gone
And the most annoying thing is that you can't do anything with extra copies of UR and SR this game is made just to earn money and then they will going to take it down one day after scamming ppl

I dont really think the deals past the first stage are worth it, if they guaranteed a UR from the start it would be but there's two of each SR in main boxes. The SR deals aren't very valuable.
It'd be different if they had a trade in system in place for boxes where you use like 5 SRs and like 1,000,000 gold to construct a UR you want.
