- The second war smashed onto our screens bigger and better than before! The introduction of the new house robot Sir Killalot brought shock and awe to the wars. New presenter Craig Charles presents, Johnathon Pearce commentates and Philippa Forrester interviews the teams. The six combatants are Behemoth, Inquisitor, Razer, Elvis, Milly-Ann Bug and Bodyhammer..

Razor was by far the best bot to appear at this stage....did anyone else notice how much stuff Elvis' blade was cutting? He was cutting house robots, the arena, the corner...that was great
That defeat right there was the cause of Razer's long lasting hatred for Matilda, hence the destruction of 'tildey many seasons later.
Such a shock Razer broke down after piercing through Inquisitor, everyone thought it was over! Poor Elvis keeps dying lol, Behemoth are a brilliant team and well engineered. Worthy winners of this heat I say

Yep; that was what always disappointed me with Razer. If not for the consistency of their mechanical/electrical issues I would've expected them to win every match they entered into.
you have to hand it to the inquisitor guys, there were a great laugh and were very humble about their lack of attacking power.
I think it's fair to say that this, the first heat final that Behemoth was triumphant in, didn't require as much effort as their second heat final win tonight, nearly 19 years on! Credit to them though, after their Series 9 debacle I was not expecting them to upset Apollo, but you cannot fault how durable Behemoth is nowadays.
Odd to think Behemoth entered every subsequent series and yet this series was their only semi-final appearance.
It was a runner-up in a World Championship though.
Komic Klepto Yet it beat three times grand finalist Hypno-Disc in Extreme 1..
They seemed to have very mixed success but ultimately they were one of the unluckiest teams in the whole show. Extreme Series 1 showed what they were capable of and they were always let down by unfortunate technical, or in one instance house robot intervention, instances.
@@Komicklepto series 3 they were royally screwed over by the arena spike. This meant that their seeding was forever so low that they ended up with another strong competitor in their heat which always made it difficult to get to the semis. They lost the heat final basically every time after this.
Painful to watch Razer break down but at least they lost to a Red Dwarf reference!

In the first two series, all you really needed in the arena, was good pushing power....once you pushed your opponent into the cpz the house robots seemed to do all the work for you
in one sense it was a miracle that inquisitor was able to move with all the damage inflicted to it.

I think it's bizarre that people considered armour basically meaningless by the 3rd Wars because robot weapons weren't considered capable of doing real damage (until Hypno-Disc put the cat among the pigeons anyway) when Razer had already showed itself capable of inflicting serious damage like this. Maybe if Razer had won people would have taken the threat more seriously, but this was the start of the infamous Razer Engineering Suicides that would haunt them for 3 straight series until they eventually took the World Championship and then series 5.
Elvis vs Behemoth was hardly fair, though, Behemoth just shoved them into the PPZ and then all the house robots just ganged up on them, picked them up, never put them down and beat the shit out of them until the end of the battle. They REALLY needed to look at the rules governing house robot action!
Better idea: The House Robots need to actually read the rules. Half the time they break the existing ones.

Damn, I thought Razer would win that first fight. But that said, it still was pretty powerful in its debut, completely slicing through Inquisitor!
They have lost quite a few times. But i guess they learnt and made changes :)
Jonathan Pearce missed a good opportunity to make an Elvis joke when he was on fire - could have said "Elvis, just a hunk of burning love!"

Wow, Behemoth looks like a Tonka toy in its first incarnation. It's hardly recognisable compared to the 2016 version!

Razer should've won. The house robots should've all joined in and killed Inquisitor when they had the chance. 0:51, Shunt's the only one that bothers at all. Look at 1:14, Killalot is DRAGGING Inquisitor away from Razer. And at 1:18 Matilda could've flipped Inquisitor with her tusks but just stands idle.
