PTZ89, 5 second autoloader at 8.7, pair that with the AFT09, WMA301 and the PTL02, and you have a very decent rat lineup, also the T-69 II G if you’re feeling especially ratty

The crashing is very weird. Fixed mine by updating the graphics driver, but as you said, that didn't work for you and many others. Feels like Gaijin just randomly tossed different bugs at every player lmao
The reason why your game could be crashing is because of the sound mod files they have been unstable ever since la royale update for most people, what i did is i removed the sound mod files from the game to fix my issue personally to stop the crashing.

I figured out why the game crashes with new updates a long time ago, all you have to do in most cases (if you use the steam version) is to update the game using the launcher (chose the launcher option instead of loading into the game directly), because it downloads files that steam usually misses when updating it.
It actually has two separate ready racks and first stage ammo racks which operate independently from each other so you can shoot one launcher without messing with loading of the other.
My War Thunder was crashing a lot recently as well. I'm talking blue screens, graphics being reduced to 144p, the works. What fixed mine was making sure the motherboard time and Windows 10 time aligned... I havent crashed since. Apparently having that misaligned messes with your ram
For the past few days ive had an issue where everytime i joined a match and played for a bit, around 6 minutes in, the game would crash so hard that i had to turn off my PC completely and restart everything, not only that but i had to wait 10 minutes for my vehicle to come back from battle, today i played and it was fine... I have no idea what is happening.
spookston pls try out the t34-100 if you havent already, its a very good premium with a 100mm gun with aphe that has 240mm of pen at 6.3, the only flaw is that its a t34 chassis so you can be 1 shot by everything at the front pretty much.

So losing a race uphill against a Ferdinand isn't much of a downside. On the other hand, thing has more ammo, better armor and another crew member with a not that major speed disadvantage. Gaijin has to understand that WT is not WoT. Since vehicles performance are bound to real documents, the balancing of the game depends on the vehicles you choose to add. This means that you can't take a tank and change the horse power of his engine like in WoT (for example). Gaijin need to think before adding new tanks (or planes or ships). Also I challenge you (Spookston) to play the Lancia 3ro... If you wanna suffer a little bit.
Its a shame they added this vehicle. This is the same chassis as the HS.30, they could have added the LGS M40A1with an (exposed) recoiless rifle, and a 20mm gun. Which was used and would have been a bit more fun to fight I think.
I experienced the same issue with WT crashing without non of the troubleshooting steps helping to resolve the problem. What ended up helping me is updating to the latest Bios version for my motherboard
I also had that crash problem. Make sure you go for a complete uninstall of the graphics driver, not just the option to reinstall it gives you with nvidia
I wouldn't say the problem with taking fire from that vehicle or the U-SH is that it may seem like artty, but rather due to their rate of fire and the visual effects from the rockets even if they botch their first 6 volleys you won't be able to find them in the ensuing storm of explosions to effectively counter attack. Basically the only counter to these vehicles is just spot them first and take them out before they know you see them.
On that same BR there are tanks where you have to aim and carefully position yourself and then there is this thing with near unlimited ammo, unlimited pen and basically no need to aim
Spookston you might try capping your frame rate around 80% of your monitor's refresh. I was having the same issue with the dead space remake and it helped

you should play the Type 62 from the chinese (or russian) tech tree, i think its a neat light tank
The only use for type 62 is bringing it to 8.0 and abusing the fact that people mistake it for an actually dangerous and heavily armored T54/T55
