    I absolutely HATE window shopping for anything except corals. My wife and her friends can make a whole day of it but I can’t stand it. I CAN however look at corals all day on video or in person. Of course I can never afford what strikes my eye but I really enjoy seeing new color morphs and just different corals. Thanks Jake that was awesome.

      Sometimes I go the aquarium market here to window shop. I'll spend all day looking at coral

    Dude knows his stuff .... Video 👍. I think some of those prices were in Baht 😳. I stayed in a JW Marriott in Bangkok during my hedonist days (think hangover movie) and my bill was over 100,000 baht for the week 😂. Well done Jake!

    Damn, some of those Scoly prices are eye-watering. Lots of downsides to being into reefing in Australia, but Scoly prices aren’t one of them😆

    ... and priced to match... a term that was said way too often in this video for me to care about the coral vendor side of this hobby anymore. At least those Holy Grail micros were ones that have been grown and fragged much over, they still are too damn expensive IMO though considering just about everyone has them shows they really aren't as rare as they're priced at. And some of those meaty corals that were a big showcase to this, those make me sad because there just isn't any grow out of them other than no one buying them so they get larger.

    • @andysmalt589
      @andysmalt589 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Holy Grail Micro were going for $75 a head, best price I've seen

    • @Mike__B
      @Mike__B 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andysmalt589 Still kind of pricey considering how many you actually see, I mean how many were in that one vendor's frag tank just in this video? But yeah, best price I've ever seen too.

    • @andysmalt589
      @andysmalt589 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mike__B well considering I am the vendor who's tank is in the video, I will have to agree to disagree, considering the time it took me to aquaculture them, spot feed them daily, water changes, electricity to aquaculture them, the amount of time it takes to ensure healthy specimens and frag them for health vs single head polyps.
      We priced them at $75 because we were able to successfully aquaculture them with good health and for the bigger 5 or 6 head frags you see we were even selling them at discounted prices of $50 per head.
      The cost in our pieces are associated with the amount of time and care we put into the health & quality of our coral.
      Glad you like them though
