Awesome workshop, im so jealous! You might want to put the machinery downstairs so you dont cover the bikes in dust. Try putting the office upstairs and the machine workshop in the current office room
Congratulations on your climb up the custom bike ladder. My first bike was a BSA Lightning Rocket 1964, I was sixteen. Boosted the displacement boring the cylinders and running 10.5 to one compression. Also bobbed it. I even had a set of whitworth wrenches which for the boondocks of the US was unusual. Hope those new Triumphs don't use Lucas electrics.

Well done 👍 To mount a vise ... before bolting it in, clamp a long bar vertically in the jaws with part of it hanging below the bench top - this will show you how far forward the vise needs to sit to be fully useful
