Okay, I started this vid years ago, and since December was ArMor month on tumblr, I decided I would go back and re-edit this with HD footage to contribute. However, it took longer than I thought it would-- I am woefully out of practice editing ArMor. Also, I challenged myself to make this video 100% canon compliant (ew, gross, why did I do that to myself) which meant no scene manipulations (my favorite thing to edit!!!) and it was SUPER tough for me. If you know me at all, you know I love crossovers and AUs (I'm not sure a single one of my ArMor vids is completely canon), so limiting myself to only one show's footage AND not tweaking it to look a certain way was torture. I also despise putting text on videos, so as much as I wanted to include it, I was too lazy most of the time.
This definitely isn't my best work, but I'm weirdly proud of myself for sticking with it, so hopefully my ArMor crew on here will enjoy it!

Deep down Arthur still has a soft stop for Morgana
There were always pain and sadness in Arthur's eyes... I don't understand how Morgana could want to kill him so eagerly even before he was King. She never doubted or gave it a second thought, she only forgot ten years of friendship/love like it was nothing?? I will never forgive writers for such a rushed "hateful" arc on her. That she wanted him dead from s4 : okay, because of Morgause and magic laws which didn't change, but before??? It erased everything she was in the 2 first series and it's kinda shameful.
Yet I still love them deeply 😔 and this vid' is gold!! makes me so nostalgic ~
I choose to think that more goes brainwashed her into blaming him for everything that happened. As a reason for the rushed-ness but it needed more time to build

@@SunnydaleRehab2 But imagine how boring the show would be if they didn't have a villain that had a great backstory that we grew to know. I would be seriously so bored. Honestly, I prefer to stay away from shows where people act all goody goody two shoes all the time.

This is fantastic!! I wouldn't say you're out of practice at all! Seriously, I loved everything about this! Your transitions and manips were genius! I loved how you made parallels and used scenes I really haven't seen before in past ArMor vids, so this was really cool. I loved your coloring and overlays as well, especially the one of the birds taking flight; it's gorgeous! I found your videos when I first fell in love with ArMor, and like Noémie, I've watched them many times, so I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to see you participate in this event! Aww thank you, I really appreciate that! It’s been like 3 years or so since I edited ArMor so I’m glad to hear that I’m not as rusty as I thought I was lol. Sorry I didn’t get it done sooner, but I really loved ArMor month and I adore that people still care about these two nearly a decade after the show ended. Out of all the fandoms I’ve been in, this one is probably the most dear to me, it just feels like family 💕
@@SunnydaleRehab2 You're welcome! No worries about not finishing this sooner. When we started the event we didn't want to set deadlines or anything since we're such a small part of the Merlin fandom and didn't want to dissuade people from participating by limiting the event to just a week, where people had to post on a certain day, since, speaking for myself, events like that can be difficult to find the time for. We wanted this one to be as relaxed as possible. And also, since this was our first time doing something like this, we probably didn't give enough time to let people know about the event before it started, which we realize we should do a better job of next time. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the event! I discovered Merlin and ArMor late, I guess, so I felt like I missed out on the time when this pairing was more popular, so it was fun for me as well to have a celebration for them. We had a couple people on tumblr suggest that we turn this into a yearly thing which would be a lot of fun. And I completely agree with you. There's something special about our little corner of the Merlin fandom. I've met so many wonderful people through this ship, and we really are like family. ❤
