wondered how to make a main menu in roblox studio? or how to create a shop which has working GUI? ive made lots of 2024 roblox scripting tutorials about all the different bits of roblox to give you some up-to-date information about all of its properties and events.
my goal is to simply give some insight on how to use the various features and instances roblox studio, and show you some fun stuff you can do with them. thanks for checking out this roblox scripting tutorial :)

Hey, I saw you said LocalScripts can only run in the player which IS true BUT you can change serverscripts to client runtime via properties and they will run anywhere. Just a neat little thing

not related to the video but whats the difference between heartbeat and while loops, why would i use runservice rather then while loops?

A while loop will halt any code that comes after it, and I believe it actually is slower than using runservice

It is not recommended to shorten names of variables.

​​@@leaderr_roblox added a new support engine for models and textures that allow them to be malformed or edited by programming, making vertices and triangles is not the same thing exactly because it is formed out of nothing, that requires a modeling program

@@densylek8779 not sure exactly what you mean by it requiring a modeling program. there is a function that allows you to create a vertex at a position and a triangle out of 3 vertices. then, you can make a quad function that just takes 4 vertices and makes 2 triangles.
