The woox walk trick with melee is much easier when you have true tiles on. You don't have to look at your character, just the blue true tile. I stopped messing up the acid phase after figuring that out because you don't have to time or think too much. The blue tile where you stand is when you attack vorkath. 2 tiles south from that is the point where you'll need to click on vorkath again to re-attack to keep the 4 tick speed cycle of your Lance. Once you see the blue tile hit the edge where vorkath resides, click that spot again that is 2 tiles south. Its hard to explain through text without a demonstration, but test it out and you'll see what I mean. It's very simple once you've gotten it down.

Hey mate, thought i'd give a good way to teleport there quickly. Use house tabs, use the portal nexus to go to Lunar Isle, then talk to an npc with no seal of passage on you. They boot you off right next to the docks with the boat.
or relleka house tele and just go there. or frem boots.
By the time you you talk to the npc, it is statically takes longer.

Solid guide. Should also mention if you die your can pay 100k to the boatman to reclaim your items. Also the slayer staff can be set up to auto cast crumble undead.
the auto cast with staff is so slow you're still gonna get exploded most of the time

@@lauraborabeee autocast always is 1 tick slower. there is no reason to use it instead of manually casting unless your click accuracy is terrible, in which case you're probably going to miss your staff switch anyway...
@@jamesblack9411 yes I agree it is pretty slow for me though having to switch to the spell book click on the spell then click on the spawn is slower and more annoying for me. To each their own though
@@snooch1 You must have incredibly slow reaction time. Never had issues, anyone manual casting is a noob.
Fremennil Elite isn't required for using the lunar isle route, talking to any lunar person without a seal of passage sends you to rellekka after a short dialogue. I think it's roughly as fast as the elite diary option but not as fast as the boots teleport.
I do like it because it saves one spot from inventory as well if you use chaos, dust and law for poh > nexus lunar > talk to any other banker. No need for tele items
Hey just an idea. Maybe u should do a bossing series called “what’s the worst gear I can kill “X” boss in” and work ur way down from the max setup and progressively work way down until you can’t kill that boss anymore
I did vorky with a black sally, took me a few tries but managed a kill in 8 minutes with it haha.

@@AMediumSizedKodiak So for vorky I had it set to ranged which puts the sally on a 4 tick, i wore void at first to try and get a good kill but he would tear me up since im in melee range, so wore blessed dhide/verac helm skirt setup and it went slow and smoothly.
I was really struggling until I bought the slayer staff to auto cast crumble undead, I was always one or two ticks late because of the reload on my crossbow
5 months late but yeah the instant I see the white breath attack I just click the ground to cancel my next animation
Awesome guild, i do the range method and still use the slayer staff but i can say I have gotten spooned on Draconic Visage at 151kc and Skeletal Visage at 175kc ill take it!!

I dont understand I succeeded Vorkath first try during the quest now im dying everytimes to acid phase the stupid character wont obey my click he kinda stuck sometimes then take 2 hits. I hate this im so bad at the game
EDIT: right after complaining (posting this message) I succeeded in Vorkath. I'm a true gamer now. (Ik im under level af with noob gear but let me enjoy pain okay?)

Another good teleport to relleka that I use is the enchanted lyre, you can upgrade it to have unlimited teleports and it literally tps you at the front area of relleka, I forgot how I enchanted it but if you wiki enchanted lyre it’ll pop up
You can also just use a redirected house tablet you’re teleported just a few tiles away. I can see how the upgraded lyre would be better though. I normally just use the lunar isle teleport since there’s a bank.

It's done by offering 1k of 4 different types of fish unless you've done your achievement diaries.
Since I'm too lazy to do diaries for area specific teleport items my favorite Rellekka teleport is Jewelry Box POH to Miscellania and take the nearby boat to Rellekka port
Hey Koaz thanks for the guide! Im doing melee right now and using a veracs plate and dwh. (torso is too much negative magic and dwh is borrowed so i cant sell it). I have enough to either upgrade to bandos chest or bandos godsword. Which should I prioritize do you think?
Really depends on what you are needing the most, if your kills take long a bgs might help you killing it faster

Why do you bring fremmy boots? Doesn't it make more sense to just poh/pool>nexus to lunar isle, bank there and then use return orb? Otherwise ur just trading 1 inv spot for maybe saving 2.5 seconds on bank time

Is the salve amulet (ei) worth it without elite void? I’d be using fortified masori in place of elite void with DHC, ward, guthix boots, archers ring (I) I just can’t beat zulrah for hard western provinces diary for elite void I’ve tried sooo many times, or should I go with melee without the void?

i know this is a year old but im surprised he didnt suggest the enchanted lyre as a teleport it can be charged to be infinite and is easier to get than the elite boots
Nice guide. For the range setup though, there is little point in bringing a divine bastion potion though right? You’re just wasting money over a Divine Ranged potion. You always pray Ranged and never het melee’d by Vorkath when you’re ranging, so you don’t need the extra defence. I guess it gives you slightly more Mage defence, but it doesn’t seem necessary to me.
The defense applies to all attack styles though so no matter what you’re taking less damage with higher defense. I think the point is to extend trips. But if you’re only getting one or two kills a trip anyways yeah probably better to just nix the bastion

No need to switch prayer. Just set up quick prayer to pray mage and piety. 1 click to turn them back on when purple fire turns prayer off.
Hey Kaoz - trying out the melee method for the first time and I’m splashing even with the slayer staff. Any reason why? Seems like I followed your advice but maybe I glossed over a detail?
Hey mate, if you are splashing with the slayer staff itll be because your magic bonus is at -64 or lower. If you increase it above -64 (to -63 or higher) then it shouldnt splash anymore. Try switching some gear (e.g. serpentine helm to neiz facegaurd/helm or something) and that should hopefully do the trick.

Weird. You're the first person to bring that up pretty much all year. Maybe your volume is waaaaaay up. I asked an experienced video editor about levels and followed his guide. Haven't had any complaints about it
another easy way to get there, have waterbirth island teleport in your house, take the ship back to relekka from there and you are right at the docks

Zulrah is easy bro, easyer than vorkath. Less gp/hour tho. Once you understand the rotations it's a walk in the park

@@MB-dv5kg the general consensus is that Zulrah is much, much harder to learn, but easier than Vorkath once you’vr mastered it. Tbh though Vorkath is also completely braindead after a few hundred KC and both bosses can randomly combo you / hit you off prayer sometimes.
Sitting at 321 kc and nothing but head drops. Visages would be cool but I really just want the pet. The gold making is 100% secondary for me. So hopefully I can get the drop soon

After over a year of figuring our zulrah when I had time to, I finally got my elite void armor today. Time to kill vorkath! Need my first 50
I’m using Zaryte Crossbow special attack instead as I’m really lazy to do any switching 🤣 110 damage is good enough for me 😬
Don't you need to bring a glove switch? My magic wasnt high enough with ferocious gloves so I had to bring my barrows gloves and swapped with the staff. Was using the mid lvl but with primordial boots and fighter torso.

@@KaozOSRS I forgot bandos doesnt punish your magic attack as much as fighter torso. When using a fighter torso you have to bring a glove switch.

You forgot to mention the most important thing to do with the Screen Marker plugin.
Which is to make a dark-ish red marker that coverd the entire screen so that the screen doesn't blind your eyes with its brightness.

melee kills is way faster than range. i take around 5 mins for range kills with void and dcb ruby bolts e but i take 2 and half minutes for melee

86 range is pretty low compared to 99 for vorkath. Are you using dragon bolts?

I've been playing video games since I was 6. In order to understand some of them I had to learn English to know what I need to do next. Startes playing RS in 2005 so my reading/writing improved a lot, and when I started watching YT in 2006 my listening improved too.
In 2012 I started making Let's Play videos on my main channel "kaozbender" where I narrated games for several hours per weekend, which polished my vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation further.
And of course we come to present day where I'm still practicing because of my videos and because I also teach English for a living in order to capitalize on my "kill" haha.

Why wouldn't you name everything in the inventory? What's that staff? What's the purple potion on the right, beside the prayer one? What are those spare boots at the bottom? These are in the Meele. FFS, Guides like these, why not include the descriptions, THAT would make it an "Ultimate guide".
It’s not a staff, it’s a BGS. Purple 1 is extended antifire. Boots are freminek sea boots 4, which are a reward for completing elite freminek diary.

Staff is a slayer staff to cast crumble undead against the minions that spawn. Purple potion is an extended antifire.

Masori is better than elite void as the accuracy is higher than with the elite void buff.... The only difference is max hit is 7 less on bolts (without spec).... And instead of bgs with max void, zaryte crossbow is better for the first hit on ruby bolt spec, then if using this method, downgrade archers imbued for lightbearer to get double specs per kill.
The other difference is several hundred million GP lmao

I think the ground tiles are way too intrusive, so much extra crap on the ground harder to immediately see a woox-able hole in the acid, also you didnt talk about true tile for woox walk as well

Just a question... Is woox walk possible in 170~180 ping.?? I play at these pings and whenever I try to do it I just end up either dying or at 10 hp
Possible but not worth it imo, you need to anticipate your moves and move when you are going for the hit.
If you want to try your best shot at it, you can practise it by walking 2+ tiles away from any NPC (like banker), search for "metronome" from runelite settings, click once on every metronome tick and you'll see if it's consistent enough. If it's not consistent even if you're sure you're doing it right, you'll either start moving a step closer or step further everytime you lag if your ping is inconsistent
