I bought all Parkside tools in Lidl Chainsaw, Strimmer, lawnmower and hand tools 9years ago tools for my garden 1/2 acre surrounded by 20 foot Leylandii hedge, cant fault them all still working fine.
As a Professional Horticulturalist I'm interested in soil PH, have you done the coffee jar test to see what the silt, clay percentages and mineral content are in your plots soil and have you had any sucess with Brassica's as most Portuguese veg gardens seem to be mainly squashes, tomatos and top fruits
I must say it is very cheap for a 4-stroke yes, but I just love using the roçadeira with 4mm square wire. I just bought a Stihl and after having wrecked 5 other cheap ones I am very happy with it. But as we have 1,5 hectares I will need a proper lawnmower in the future because I am 63 and not getting younger.... Wish I bought a smaller quinta but it is what it is.
What do you think of Parkside products?
Got a couple of different Lidl stuff.. And they actually really do the job very well!!!

Hi! I've never tested my soil. We've had some success with cabbage... there are plots near us that grow a lot of cabbage.
Plastico Magico!
