- My visit to Nashik was amazing and this is primarily because of the help of Swapnil, owner of The Great Indian Workout ( / thegreatindianworkout . This workshop (recently moved to a bigger place) is situated in Nashik and it sells and manufactures Mudgars, Indian clubs, Gada, Mace, and Samtola. Swapnil has great visionary ideas and he gave me a tour through his shop. It's a pleasure to witness the first steps into making this club industry bigger and better. We don’t need steel maces cause we use traditional wood for gada we don’t need the steel we need wood that is medicinal! Mr harbert you need to learn about what is medicinal wood without varnish, any Product that is varnished loses its quality , swapnil throw out your steel maces and stick to traditional taleem equipment

I am a 75 year old American grandmother. I cannot walk and live most of my life in a wheelchair. I have ordered a pair of 1 pound clubs from India. I will get coaching on Zoom from India, and I am going to work to regain my strength. I have hope now to get better and stronger. This kind of exercise is not scary, can be done at home, and sitting if need be. Not at all like going to the gym which is impossible for many people.

Dude I am in the USA and i am dying to try these things. I dont have an abundance of money but Im willing to make my own joris mugdars and gadas. In the process of researching the proper information. Also training is another thing which im sure yours is an incredible option. I love Indian culture and want to learn the tradition of this form of exerice.

Not a big fan of steel gada. The traditional sesam wood gada which is well oiled til ( gingeli oil) is what i prefer
1st steel mace you've created is good, metal mace need not be round shape only as long as it serves the purpose.

These and kettelbelss are exponentially interesting and fascinating to watch and learn and use...at the moment I've only three kettlebells but my father has indian clubs (the usual barbell stuffs) and so I'd trained a bit there, too...and now, after a few of vids like this and yepperz, I'm back on the wagon again of wanting to train the clubs and maces!!!
