      a lot of these kits are universal...like the huge kits you see on ebay or amaxon...they are all listed for different bikes yet have the same size and same amount in each kit. Some will fit, some wont...I used this kit from ciro on the main stuff and actually had an ebay kit laying around so I used them on the ones that didnt get covered.

      @@sikbaggers probably have to do the same, it'll just add to my "parts" section in the garage, cheers.

    Nice video. Did you make the second video to show how the caps hold up after a couple of months?

      Thank you and I did not sir....however I can tell you that they have all pretty much held up..I had to replace a couple this year do to chrome coming off...All of the ones I replaced were near the hottest part of the motor. I found this to be true with this set and even the knock offs I did the other video on...the ebay caps. So, from here on out I will purchase the ebay caps at a 1/4 of the price. I had a lot left over from the pack and it really only take about 2 minutes to change the ones that needed it. They werent terrible but I could see some pitting so I pulled them. To me the Kuryakyns are not worth the price if you have to replace a few every season..just get the cheapos and some clear silicone and save some money.

      You will pretty much destroy those getting them off...thats why i with the cheap ones...buy some extra packs on amazon or ebay so if you need to take them off you can and don't worry about damaging them

    How you take them off?!

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you dont want to damage them you can put rag over it and pull it off with pliers ...the silicone on metal peals right off with no mess. If you you are replacing them just grab them with the pliers and pull them off.

    Are they metal?

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they are plastic. but not the thin plastic from the cheap sellers on ebay. Those things are junk. These are equivalent to the ones from HD that cost 269 bucks. You will have a few that will fit the head bolts. Do not put them on there. They will melt. Even the HD ones. You will need to purchase separate metal ones for those bolts.
