    Henry is so vulnerable in this episode, too. Excellent portrayal of somebody who has emotional outbursts and is scared of them, the constant stress to keep yourself in check, the fear of hurting your loved ones. Also the feeling of constantly fucking up, no matter how hard he tries. Just - excellent acting in this episode all around.

    Hearing Frank talk to Daryl in Paeden’s voice is so funny even though it’s serious at the same time, and when he’s destroyed to let Daryl escape I will never emotionally recover.

    What a beautiful yet complex look on masclunity the ketchup sandwich reminded me of what my dad did somedays when we didn't have enough money to eat. I just want to say frank is so expertly played. You could've used frank to bash all conservative men and besides a few jabs you let the character shine brilliantly. Great job

    Nothing could have prepared me for this conversation between Frank/Payden and Darrell.
    Hitting a little too close to home honestly. When you’re only taught to constantly be in control of your emotions and to not show weakness, it’s exhausting. Still struggle with that to this day

    I feel kind of silly for never putting together that Willie is a Warlock rather than a Wizard. I just never really thought about it but in hindsight it’s really obvious oops

    I'm confused. Wasn't there a druid girl that made homunculus to go into the dungeon back in Oakville ? Also, they are going to pull Peyton's consciousness out of that homunculus into another one like they originally planned I hope.... I know this is an old podcast and I'm just now catching up, but I'm concerned that they're forgetting things that they planned previously...

    As a conservative, republican, Christian, I would also be disgusted to be pulled to the left. Great horror scene.

      I guess Darryl chose Catholicism even though he was likely raised Christian if his dad is Christian

    • @Chetloore
      @Chetloore ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@meowwaffles6040this may seem silly but that confused me. Isn't it Christianity if you believe in Jesus as the Messiah? Catholicism is a sect like Baptist or Methodist. Unpopular belief is Mormon and Jehovah Witness are forms of Christianity as well.

    • @chrisv9114
      @chrisv9114 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They all said the conservative Christian dad had some blind spots, given how California is developing, (homeless, immigrants, drug problems, robberies, economics deficits) I wonder if they think the liberals don't. And which blind spots are acceptable for raising a family in.

    • @nemovi5379
      @nemovi5379 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@meowwaffles6040all Catholics are Christians, not all Christians are Catholics.
      Saying Darryl grew up Christian doesn't mean that he didn't grow up Catholic. Though he could have converted later in life, for his character, it would make sense if his dad also raised him Catholic.
