- We can’t get enough of games consoles, but not all consoles are created in equal numbers, and although we joke about the PS5 being harder to obtain than rocking horse poop, in the grand scheme of things, they’re actually very common. Some console variants are so scarce, in fact, that unless you were lucky enough to win them in a contest or have thousands of dollarydoos to spend at an auction, then you’ve got absolutely no chance of getting your mitts on one. Here are the 10 of the Rarest Special Edition Consoles.

You should do a video of rare consoles that were commercially available. These custom systems that weren’t sold in stores are interesting, but I’d like to see the ones people could have potentially went out and bought
I have the blue Nathan Drake console have had it since day one and i love it. I know it's not super rare at all, but I still think it's a great looking machine.
My rarest console is the NBA Elite 11 PS3 Slim (green version). I got mine at a flea market for $80 from people who didn’t know its significance. It was given to athletes who helped with making the NBA Elite 11 game, which wound up being canceled because it was terrible. 😅
Can’t believe the Star Wars Xbox 360 isn’t listed. Thought I might be on to a winner when I purchased that…

You can determine the authenticity of many materials by their smell.... real amber has a creamy smell if you warm it up by rubbing. Mother of pearl smells different than plastic!
I remember when there was the 3DS with Mega Charizard X with only one in existence given to the winner of a Japanese Pokémon tournament.

I love how almost everyone in the UK refers to CEX as Cee Eee Ex and not Sex. Only CEX want to pronounce their company name as Sex and despite trying for years to push the pronounciation, brits still refuse to bend to that leve of crudeness.
Also because it doesn’t make sense as it’s an acronym: stands for Computer EXchange.

The Xbox Series X Gucci console is something I want, but it's 10k but it does come with a travel case and 2 controller.
I thought the Hieniken Nintendo Gamecube would be on this list. Still an interesting video though.

When I worked in Harrods we had a solid gold Xbox one. It was a one off custom. Can not remember if it ever even sold mind.
The guy who won the Sonic Xbox console actually posted about it on Twitter. They also make some really good digital art.

I have the Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker PSP 3000, it's not crazy rare, CV has it at 63. It's goddamn beautiful though, and still looks great today, they used amazing paint on these things. The original battery still runs for 4+ hours and hasn't bloated at all. The screen is starting to delaminate unfortunately 😔
Miles Morales isn't the second Spider-Man though. There were several other superheroes and supervillains who had taken on the Spider-Man identity after Peter Parker and before Miles Morales.

Not super rare but I do have the green N64 and one of the dozen or so Mario/Luigi 3DS variants, and I’m not entirely sure why all my special editions are Nintendo consoles
If I can't buy a special edition console I'll just buy the console I want and start wrapping it in some deluxe skins that make it look unique.

only rare/uncommon consoles i have are the Taco Bell PS4 and Xbox One X (both colors) and a Yammer 360.

The implication on Vadu Amkas website is that it's the only one - having followed their work on and off for years, I'd say it's pretty likely that there was only ever one.
One console that should be on here as rare should be the code Veronica Chris redfield Dreamcast console,one on eBay going for £14,000!
