    10:53 it is clear, that Anselma was banished from the long before 1171, Edelgard mentions in her goddess dialogue:
    "For as long as I can remember, my mother had already been exiled from the capital."

      Weird, I wrote more, but that part was cut off, what I wanted to say was:
      Also Dimitri grew up thinking Patricia was his real mother. Patricia never reunited with her daughter, while in the Kingdom and Cornelia used this to manipulate the Queen into helping them with the Tragedy of Duscur, by making her think, Lambert had been keeping her daughter from her back then and promised to reunite them.
      Reading between the lines, there is more to this, but all what i'm stating was directly stated in game.

    POOR STORY TELLING by the DEVS. Blue Lions route didnt really let you confront the slither group.

      it was poor story design by the devs. I still recommend this game but with a warning.

    Ahhhhhhh everytime I think about Three Houses I get sooo sad that the franchise wasn't profitable enough to give it the manpower it needed for development.
    Three Houses and Valentia definetely were a success for Nintendo so let's hope the next FE will go above and beyond.

    I honestly have no idea how to find most of this info in game so thank you for the knowledge :) After finding out about Kronya and Solon being fakes I wondered how many people were even real and Arundel came to mind seeing how fishy and noticably ominous he acts in the Black eagles story. I really hope they do dlc like awakening which fills more holes in the story

    There's something that really bothers me: how can we talk of the church working on maintaining fodlan technological level at a medieval stage when neither the people who had nukes in the dark age nor any of the neighboring nations seem to have any advancements? Its a millennium since what happened in the red canyon, if the the mole people didn't had such a grudge they could already be a fricking space traveling civilization, but no, it seems that is much more fun to create monsters and start wars...
    I know that is fiction but it really feels odd... At least is not as bad as awakening and it's 2000 years after humanity's greatest foe was defeated.

      Where would the Agarthans have the resources, materials, etc. to create such things? Remember that the Agarthans were mostly wiped out and they are ultimately rather few in comparison to the rest of the continent, so it's easy for the Agarthans to have lost much knowledge over much of their former technology. There's only so much the Agarthans can create using technology from ancient times and even then, they clearly have issues with power sources and such. Remember that an assault on the Shambhala had use of Titanus and such be extremely damaging to the Shambhala.
      As for the rest of the continent, there's more indication that they have a bit more advanced stuff like how Almyran ships are loaded with cannons. Ferdinand even inspected some weapons made from Dagda and realized that they aren't really inferior to theirs. We don't really know anything about Dagda but scraps of information. Same with Almyrans and such. But to claim that they have the same level of tech is questionable.
      We should also understand that most magic that isn't dark magic is based on a formula derived from Sothis herself, whereas dark magic is based on magic forged by Agarthans. This, in itself, can indicate that the application of magic is something that the others didn't manage, and thus couldn't advance tech as far due to not having their own set of magic that is not based on Sothis.

      @@0axis771 I'm sorry stray away but I just mad the connection that every unit you can recruit and can learn dark magic has ties to the creepy crawlies. How come Rhea never noticed that or is it just me and not knowing that dark magic was a study that was generally accepted?

    • @0axis771
      @0axis771 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@flamepit9269 Remember that the characters that learn dark magic naturally are Lysithea, Edelgard, Hubert, Jeritza, and Hapi. All of them are connected with the Agarthans.
      Also, to even access the dark mage class, you need to have the item that only Jeritza drops as the Death Knight during Part 1, further indicating that you need ties to the Agarthans. And Rhea isn't personally involved in battles most of the time, so she wouldn't see dark magic being used normally.
      And none of the characters would even admit to their usage of dark magic. Lysithea wants to prevent anyone from learning that she has a second Crest, so she wouldn't want anyone questioning dark magic. Hubert and Edelgard are plotting against the Church, Jeritza is known as a sword instructor, and Hapi was locked away in the basement.

      It’s magic. The answer in these games is magic because who needs canons or guns when you can shoot fire from your hands or who needs antibiotics when a healing stave is all you need

    • @marcoasturias8520

      @@monkeman5895 people who can´t throw fire balls would really like guns and Manuela implies that healing through magic is mostly energizing your cells with power so they can heal faster, you still need medicine to treat infections and parasites

    Yea, I’v written pages on the faction to try and explain TWSITD; but even then there are more dead ends and speculation then there are answers. Unfortunately, since TWSITD could have been a much more interesting faction.
    It felt like Thales could have been a much deeper character with how he died compared to how he was portrayed.

      If you want a more simbolic answer TWSITD needed to do all you see in the video in the shadows, without the church notice them so the need to Slither In The Darkeness of the history of Fodlán.
      Or ia only an Edgy cool name they (or Hubert) thought.

      In Japan they're called the Nightcrawlers and in some places in Europe, they're the Serpents of Darkness. I'm guessing the different localizers wanted to keep some kind of edgy naming convention with TWSITD

    • @thepsyshyster
      @thepsyshyster 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@absoul112 Those Who Slither in the Dark is one of the most literal way of translating the group's name. In Japanese, they are 闇に蠢く者 (Yami ni ugomekumono). Ugomekumono means "thing/one that squirms/crawls like a worm". Yami is the word for darkness, but also despair and secrecy. Lastly, ni is a particle indicating location. So the name would basically translate as "Squirming things in the dark"
      I'm definitely not defending the choice of localization. I don't think anyone has actually taken the name seriously, where as Nightcrawlers / Worms of Despair / Serpents of Darkness, while still a bit extra with the edge, at least sounds imposing.
