Btw. how did you manage to get those XL-motors turn, because when I build such a setup, the rear holes of the XL always get hung up on the beams?

i need some advice lego people i have made a big tracked vehicle but the tracks keep on snapping i thank it is because there are too many but if i pit one more on it will be too loose
You can try placing front/rear wheel on linear actuator and adjust it to tracks lenght.
