That looked like an awesome ride and great trip! I may have to send this link to my buddies and see if I can't get them interested in a trip up that way!
Great gravel routes in that area. Another good video that captures the area perfectly. I stay at the CG and ride various routes out and back. CG has great showers. You can actually get a shower only for a small fee if not camping. Good low traffic area.
I went on July 4th and absolutely loved this place. Definitely a hidden gem and I hope it stays that way. IMO being called a National Recreation Area turns people away so I hope they never "upgrade" this to a national park because if they do it will become just as overcrowded as Great Smoky Mountains
That route looked amazing. Hope to get the chance to try it. Quick question. You probably don't film much of the hike-a-bike. Was there much of it and we just didn't see it?
@@TK-ov4hn You might enjoy the Chestnut Ridge trail on the KY/TN line at Divide Road...it is singletrack/hiking trail but most folks with gravel bikes handle it well. There are a few narrow bridges you will need to walk across but it has lots of flowy trail to enjoy....and several gravel roads in the area for a loop of desired length. Several camping spots on the trail too
Great hike with amazing scenery. Best time to do it since it's not too crowded.🔥🥾
Another great episode. I really enjoy your bikepacking content. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Cheers.
That downhill section with banjo was peaceful to watch. Thanks for sharing
Great video, gents. A wonderful spot for an overnighter.
5 Star adventure! Quality over quantity. Thanks for sharing.

There wasn’t much. And I actually did include most of it in the video.
Seems like a mountain bike would be the bike of choice. Probably more than I would want to attempt with my gravel bike.
@@TK-ov4hn Agree. My MTB isn’t set up for bikepacking quite yet.
