- Can I just say that I think Chaeyoung owns this era lmao or is it just me being starstruck? This song is yet again so catchy, the hook is giving me a retro/disco vibe plus the neon outfits and the editing effect in the video is adding to that retro vibe and I’m living for this! The rap part was the killer part for me and I’d go as far as to say this is their best rap in a title track! I’ve always voiced that I wanted them to try a different concept than “feminine/cutsy” and I don’t mean it in a way that I want them to change their chore concept; I think here is the perfect example of them trying something new with the outfits and the vibe of the song while still sticking to their core concept. I hope to see more of this type of music in the future but I also hope that they are well rested and healthy because those pictures concern me a lot!

I agree with you! I don’t really like cutesy songs so I’m not really a fan of Twice but their new song Fancy was amazing and catchy! I think this concept suited them a lot more than their cuter songs because they didn’t have to adjust their voices! This song also allows them to sing in their regular vocal ranges which is amazing!
Totally agree with you! The vocals were not forced at all, it flows so beautifully allowing them to, as you said, showcase their "natural" vocal more!
I mean the song really isn't that different from what they have released earlier, basically the change is in the outfits and how the MV is shot. Their single The Best Thing I Ever Did if anything is the most mature they have released and Fancy is basically same type as Yes or Yes with a bit "darker" outfits and MV. The vocals are heavily processed as well so we don't really know if it fits them before we get live performances. It's actually about as high as their other songs.
Excuse me but this is really rude of you! She's not complaining about bubbly concept or whatnot shes sharing HER opinion and you should respect it period. And she's saying the girls did good here what else do you want? When people who aren't fans say they like the girls music then we should feel happy and not get in their face like you did!
@@GZBKarma Yea I have no problem with people having different taste and Private Martin was pretty rude. I'm just saying that this is really not that different and people going "I usually don't like girly songs but this is amazing" just shows the prejudice against a cuter MV. Like the pre chorus and rap part is almost exactly the same as Yes or Yes just by audio. I may have been a bit abrupt but it ticks me off when the same people would hate on it if the MV was cuter but the audio stayed the same.

I think most of us, me included, have little knowledge about technical music terms so when we see chae or dahyun we automatically attach them to rap. But in my eyes dahyun was definitely rapping, not a full on hard rap but still a rap. But then again who am I to say that hahaha i know nothing 😂
