100% Dan. In fairness, he’s really In a class all by himself; the vocals, energy, originality, and just the unbelievable way he delivers every song puts him so far ahead that there’s really no comparison.
From the beginning there was no doubt in my mind. Dan is the ultimate singer/performer. He has a voice from heaven, his enunciation is excellent and his screams are top tier!❤❤ What more could one ask for?! Dan is so "polished" and professional. Thankyou for your reaction😃
I grew up listening to Donny Osmond, so he's still my favorite, but for a live performance, I don't think you can top Dav Vasc's performance! I've never known someone who can sing heavy metal and enunciate so well you can understand the words! Also love the Peter Hollens cameo! Go Dan!
I really appreciate Dan’s skill in enunciating the words so clearly. One reactor who grew up watching Mulan a LOT was like, “Oh, that’s what the lyrics are?” Another example: here 14:46 you can hear a clear distinction in the two back-to-back “t”s on “great typhoon.” (Actually, he misses it one time out of all the times he says “great typhoon.”) Most people would pronounce only one of the “t” sounds. When I was in choir I was trained how essential it is to pronounce things clearly because there’s a big group and it’s too easy to sound sloppy. It takes work and practice to enunciate clearly. Anyway…something I noticed and appreciate about Dan’s singing.
While the other artists were great, there is no question that Dan Vasc triumphed with his version. I have seen this one so many times and enjoy it just as much each time. There is a reason why he has over 14 million views for this one. Many reactors have said that they should remake the movie and use Dan's rendition. I really enjoyed your reactions and hope you continue down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole and bring us more of his music. Thanks.
Without a question all three are great vocal artists. For me Pelle was to operatic, that just didn't fit the song and the situation of the song in the movie. Peyton does great metal stuff, but I missed some highlights in this performance. Dan really incorporated the song and the drill instructor, who was supposed to sing it. I also love that you can clearly understand each word of the lyrics, the way he builds this song up, the performance and of course the battle metal screams at the end 😍😎
Peyton Perrish is the singer's name. I like Peyton, have never seen or heard the second person, but my vote (without having to think about it at all) is Dan Vasc - he is the only one who shows true emotion and brings you along with the story.
Well, I liked the vibe of the first one a lot! The second one, the voices were cute but just no, no, no. The third, no comparison. Dan Vasc is the master. He blows them all out of the water. That voice. The way he feels the song, and we do, too. What a complete performance. No contest. Next!
Who let the three of them attack each other? I can already imagine it. Not fair to the first two 😂. Oh dear.... Definitely Dan Vasc ❤️🤘. But..... different strokes for different folks
Thank you for including Dan Vasc in this reaction of Who Covered It Better. I had seen Dan's version many times (was hoping I wouldn't be biased). I was curious about the other two. Dan didn't let me down! #1 Dan Vasc, #2 Peyton Parrish & #3 Pellek. I noticed someone had said SKAR Productions had done this. I checked out his version and I would have ranked him #2 if he had been included. ❤❤❤❤
I think you correctly narrowed it down between the first and last performance. Considering Parish had an entire band supporting him as well as all the stage setup for visual effect while Dan shot this himself from his garage "studio" and still impressed you with his performance, it is a testament to Dan's skill. Loved your reaction!
Your own reactions to the video definitely showed who gave you the most enjoyment with this song. Go back and watch yourselves. 😊 Hands down it was Dan.
Dan is probably the most versatile singer. I have ever heard in my life period And I have been a musician for over forty years. Dan wins by a landslide
This is so easy. Dan gets my vote. I had already viewed his version I would guess, about 100 times. Even if I am a bit biased, i listened to the first two artists with an open mind. If Dan's version was not in the contest, I heard good elements in both if the other versions. For me, Dan's originality, tremendous vocal training, and his spirit of fun with this cartoon song just rose to a much higher level.🤩
Saved the best to last.dan no contest you get the whole experience dan gives you a performance to remember he gets into the character and that's the difference.great reaction ryan and Cindy I knew you would pick dan 👍
I really like this format. My reactions: Peyton, good singing, energetic band; Pelle, not impressed. Frankly, I found his voice unpleasant and forced; Dan, YES, nailed it, vocally and theatrically. Dan always sings the words and conveys the meaning rather than just the sound. And given a chance to embody a character, he grabs it. Finally, we need to recognize and appreciate his creativity in casting and organizing the cameos. And yes, that last metal whistle scream was stratospheric! Thanks again for doing these. (Just always include Dan.)
Hey Ryan, just a wee suggestion…I don’t know if Dan’s “Kickstart My Heart” is on your list of requests, but if you trust me please think about reacting to that one before or on Valentines Day…maybe as a bit of a Valentines present to Cindy. (I’m pretty sure all us ladies in the comment section won’t complain either.😇) Another fun one for Valentines/February is “Pour some Sugar on Me.” (Dan’s unique sense of humour comes through loud and clear here.)
@@marciaelainemoraes3017 I know, I’ve been following the teasers on “X”. (Torture, because the teasers started Jan.12…a lifetime ago it seems.) I have no idea whether he’s waiting to release it on actual Valentines Day or if it’ll be a couple days before V-day or whenever the song is ready. My best guess is it’s completely ready to be released now but he’s waiting for a certain day.
Dan was my pick as soon as he stepped to the mike with chest out! He might not be able to make a man out of me, but I’ll fight in his army any day!! ❤️🤟🏼
While I like Peyton Parrish on a lot of songs, this one missed for me. Pele is too "soft" but I liked his various characters. That was great. Dan however brings theatricality, variety and SOLIDLY spectacular vocals. 🤩
#1 I love, Peyton Perish does alot of great covers. #2 I'd never heard before, not bad, but not my cup of tea. #3 hands down one of my favorite artists. I found him with his Toss a Coin to Your Witcher cover. And all of his covers are fantastic.
Ok, honest opinions: 1) Peyton Parrish: sounded like he was using auto-tune in parts. I absolutely despise the auto-tune sound. 2) Pelle: gave me the vibes of an angsty soy-boy type, nothing that would inspire me to be "manly", so he failed 3) Dan's version: I've heard it plenty of times. Maybe I'm biased, but Dan's ability to embody a song is rarely seen, so Dan has my vote
gotta love the two of you doing reactions. great smiles and fun presentation and always know what you are talking about it. having said that, i just hate pitting performers against each other. makes me feel like one of the mean girls. i know, that is silly. almost didn't watch, but trusted you to do it right, and i love the song. you went in unbiased, and pointed out something good about all three performances. it was nice that they were enough of a contrast that it would be an easy choice for most folks. gotta say i agree with yours.
Yeah, we aren't trying to insult any performers. We try to find videos that have millions of views so we are choosing our favorite of multiple great performances. It's just fun.
Dan Vasc, by far. Peyton's version was cool metal, but it lacked a relation to the story's content, imo. The 2nd guy seemed more mindful of notes than of the story, imo. Dan hit the energy, notes, story content relationship, tone, the whole shabang. Not just imo, but also in fact.
Am I the only only one who thought that Payton Parrish sounded like Macho Man Randy Savage singing through an oscillating fan? Not really a complaint, just an observation. Either way, it's Dan Vasc for me, all the way.
It is not the correct or done thing to set one artist against another it shows an unpleasant streak all are individual and deserve to be treated and judged as such think you should reconsider your approach
In a way I agree, but isn't it what we actually do ourselves, you have your favorite artists and Another person different artists performing the same song, so in essence we compare them and decide which one we want to listen to.

Yes, definitely 💪❤️

Dan slays this song. He's the winner in my opinion.

So Glad you saved the Best for Last! The Others were ok, but Dan makes you want to run right behind him into Battle!
Dan is the man his singing and acting are the Greatest ❤ you need to listen to him sing Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera fantastic
Great recommendation! One of my top favourites of Dan’s.
Music of the Night is fantastic!
But when it comes to Dan acting the role nothing beats his rendition of “Gethsamanel (from Jesus Christ Superstar).
Yes!
Dan singing Gethesemane (Jesus Christ Superstar) is sooooo beautiful. ❤

Dan Vasc has the best version.
that wasn't a challenge.........you could sing a song and that is great.......or you be the song and that is "Dantastic" ❤
