One of my favorite parts of your videos is the pacing. The editing is always so chill, a nice steady build, but it never feels slow. No overly fancy effects and flashy cuts. Another great one guys!
Thus us so awesome, the footage looked like a multi million dollar movie. It was so beautifully filmed and the acting was very good as well. Great work guys!
Definitely one of my favorite series of all time! The production van was an excellent idea and I think it will definitely be a massive asset filming on the go, if you came right in these extreme conditions, it will be a breeze filming like this on a normal set. Also, I can't wait to see Cloud Mountain!!
Swedish Brad Pitt makes his triumphant return! I love that he was feeling sick, had a headache, and overall just felt shitty, but still pushed through it and did the work, also while basically being frozen. THAT is the test of a good actor, I think. And as usual, you guys killed it with the video. Learning from you bunch has been great. I've been able to apply a lot of the knowledge here in my own work, which is great. Thanks again!

Small crew, one good actor, one good costume and one good location is what you need to strike the balance of low budget and highest quality I feel. This looks a massive step up from your fantasy film in a short space of time - great work!
This was an awesome watch. I'm in the Pocono Mountains and there's just so much snow here and I haven't been sure what to shoot. Watching you guys have definitely given me some ideas. Although I'll watch till the temperature is higher than the negative zeros it's been here.
I truly wish we had this much snow in Germany. We tried to shoot a short in December and got lucky on two weekends getting some snow. At the end of each day we had to resort to shooting in low angles though as most of the snow had melted after a few hours and the shots wouldn't fit in anymore.

And you guys give the advice to always tell the police or ask for a permit to film because someone call the police on you guys when you guys are filming. Awesome stuff guys! Love to see a bit of the realities of filming in really harsh conditions. Too bad that the sound equipment was intermittent but Kim did the exact right thing with those wild sounds. Maybe makes you think about the level of equipment you are using for field recording?

Glad I'm not the only one who's not a fan of small gimbals. Many people get them first thing thinking it makes them instantly professional. I use a weight balanced steady cam instead and never have to worry about battery or motors failing

Do you guys use manual focus or better said a wireless follow focus when shooting with the canon c300? And why did you use mainly the c300 and not the sony a1. What makes the c300 better? Sorry for the questions. I am just curious.

Had to rewatch almost everything about this series, and I simply loved again every second of this.

Hi. We use wireless follow focus on set, unless we shoot run and gun like this. When we film ourselves in the studio, we use the auto-focus :)
