Sorry, I do not fully agree. A strong willed woman would not have stayed with that man for 7 years and people can only treat you how you allow them to treat you. Respect yourself and demand respect from others. If they do not respect you, go. No one forced her to stay. She could have left - as simple as that. Just one of those scenes in the flashbacks would have been enough for me to go and never look back.

I agree, she came out stronger than before, but that is really not hard at all, as she was the perfect masochistic martyr victim cry monster in the corner up to the point where he left her at the wedding.

It doesn't matter how he chase and tries to reconcile with her, once he put her heart 6ft under, it's the end. Good for her, self respect and love oneself is the greatest love of all.
