JH,AP,DQ wasn't planning on this season our squad succeeding this fast especially this season, so they didn't go heavy in free agency, which is & was smart, this upcoming free agency, they gonna cook a superbowl team & thru the draft, patience, progress, process, still wanna see us finish this present season strong ( HTTR'S, HTTC'S )
I think this squad is still two years out, if that, cause of how many holes there are in the trenches. I'm not convinced we have the right coaches at the moment, nor was I ever convinced. I still think we should pursue an offensive HC cause Kliff isn't doing it and chasing the OC rabbit hole sounds lame. I don't expect success in postseason under Quinn, at least with Kliff at OC, point blank. The irony of bragging about the offense too early, posting it on WAS media, only to stall out midseason. That leaves a sour taste. Something's missing. Daniels stopped improving a while ago, I put that on coaching cause it's not like he doesn't have a lot to learn. Reminds me of Howell after he got rattled last season, nothing is on rhythm. I don't think Daniels can do it without leadership coming from the coach. He needs more guidance, imo he's still a big kid. Quinn was never the desired HC from the majority of the fanbase, WAS was never the desired destination for Daniels either. There's still a palpable lack of stability from the top down. Daniels has looked in his head until he flips a switch when his back is against the wall. I just don't know how sustainable that is without better coaching. But right now Daniels doesn't seem to process the game at speed, and he's missing processing ability. A broken clock is right twice a day, otherwise, we can't rely on lucky plays. Compare him to Nix right now and I fully expect WAS to bomb the rest of the season unless they get it together this week. Nix has Payton constantly in his ear and they both know what they're talking about. Daniels always needed a great OC/HC, which I'm not convinced we have either. Quinn is an expert and blowing leads and Kliff is an expert at stalling out second half of seasons. As far as I'm concerned this entire coaching staff was a temp hire until this franchise gets some stability - and I can't say Daniels is any different right now because he's not really played a good team yet while they're in rhythm. Daniels needs to show more than he has been lately to prove he's the future rather than a flash in the pan. I'm not convinced this isn't just an interesting stopover between now and when the next stadium gets built. I really don't see a lot of stability between now and then if we don't change something. Houston's been struggling with Slowik, it's not going to get any better next season under the same OC. Daniels has earned his rookie contract to see what he has, at least a couple of years but I'm not as high on him as I was a few weeks ago. He needs to be a true leader and so far I'm not seeing it, and we don't have true leaders anywhere in the coaching room. Quinn is a discount MCDC, I always thought that, and going for 1 against the Cowboys cemented his status as Rivera 2.0 in my book. Daniels dropping the Cowboys game to Rush will not be easily forgotten, if ever. That was a death knell on this whole coaching staff for me, they should have blew them out and they got got. At a certain point Daniel's rookie pass will run out and he'll start getting held accountable for games, we woulda had any other qbs head already for that one.

If they can't do that either Kliff needs fired or Daniels benched and I'm sorry there's no inbetween lol. It's just unacceptable not to feature him on offense and Kliff is a dingus the way he only keeps him on the left. We have years of multiple qbs as a control - it's not Terry's fault whatsoever. If Daniels can't throw a 50/50 to Terry then he was the wrong pick, point blank. He has to turn the corner. Look at Nix layering throws. Daniels shouldn't even be in the OROTY conversations until he can do that.
Balanced attacked needed on offense; defense, ugh, never pressured rush the majority of the game, very little confidence they will pressure tomorrow but hey ......?
I'm about 6 foot, 150 pounds. If I could give him some advice it would be a wife beater, a tight t-shirt and a long sleeve t-shirt. Tuck it in. Wear long John's or tights on your legs. Keep your feet warm too.

They should probably work on getting Terry in the slot and on the right side, but really the oline isn't deep and they are banged up.
