At the 4:10 mark, you make a great point about studying & how of it is “too easy”, then you’re not really gaining a deeper understanding. I agree with you, because as anesthesia providers, you’re expected to have an in-depth understanding of anesthesia & not just a surface/superficial understanding 👍🏾 Keep these informative & insightful videos coming. And by the way, keep pushing forward; you’re a motivational source to us 🙏🏾
I have been hand writing flashcards with my q&a because I didn't like Anki or notability or goodnotes. I am so thankful for this post I am loving this technique its helped me cut down on time spent writing out flashcards with my q&a and now I have more time to study the material in my ACNP course thank you for sharing.
this is a great video! i understood the method of study you're explaining perfectly and for being a first time doing this type of video, it is great and easy to understand. thanks so much for the info and tips!
This is awesome! I was using quizlet to basically do the same thing but this is a better way to stay organized and I love the color method of knowing what you got right and what you got wrong. Thank you!
Hey PJ! I’m new to your channel but love your videos so far! I’m starting CRNA school this summer and am so thankful for all your helpful tips and tricks! I do have a question about Notion: if other classmates have this app, is the info shareable? If so, how does it work? If not, how do you share info? Thanks!
Yo brother. I have been back and forth with study styles the whole time during nursing school. This way fits my study style to the T. Along with dictation cuz aaa no. I would find this right before graduation. I’m glad u posted this video tho. I hope to land a icu job right out of school. Thanks
I think these are good. I'm glad you told me about Notion! I think your tricks on how to do is is actually what I have done before. (i.e. Boomering). Would be nice if this program had a way for you to go over certain topics at a certain time for spatial repetition.!
PJ if you don’t mind sharing what device are you using? Although 31 I am old school when it comes to electronic devices. Point is I have a very basic laptop and looking to upgrade.
Lol no prob, my best friend I still in his 20s and is the same way lolll.... I have a 2016 MacBook Pro 15 inch and an IPad Pro 11inch with the Apple Pencil
Patrick Thomas I look over my notes then I use the toggle button to make questions for myself then I bullet the answers under each toggle. That way I can quiz myself while taking notes at the same time. Then I space out the times In between each chapter to ensure I’m retaining the information ☺️ Hope this helps. I learned it from another TH-camr name Ali His video was on note taking with notion.
