They are made by Danskin and I have the model # and everything and just no luck finding them. I did find some at the thrift store although not my size so that didn't help. I will continue to look.

Don't worry Jed, one day you'll get there 😉 The trick is utilizing the weight of the axe head, with the power of your down swing, onto a "with the grain" area on the stump. Zach has really good form. If you look closely during his swing, you'll see the transition from his hands apart on the handle to when they slide together, that's where the power is. It's a little bit strength and a lot of harnessing gravity. Takes some practice but it's super satisfying to cut in one swing!

Jen don't worry about those pants, My 3 barn dresses all have holes in them, I had to even edit out some footage because of one and they are only like 5 or 10 years old. If you straddle the goat to do the back feet it’s much easier and they will keep eating. We had a rabbit cage near our goats in a carport area. One of our goats would get out and lay on top of the cage. It was totally bowed down top the top of her box that was inside😄. She lived a very long life. Never had rabbit food only ate goat grain and alfalfa hay.

Just trimmed my goats hooves today as well. A trick for trimming without a stand is to have your assistant straddle the goats neck and create a stanchion with their legs. If you have particularly difficult goat you can do this with the goats side up against a wall or fence and you, the trimmer, can lean into the other side pinning them against the wall/fence.
About the pants. Add grommets and pretty ribbon to close the hole and make them your own in a special way. Now is a good time for festive holiday ribbon. And maybe some of those tiny ornaments for small trees.
I’ve had bunnies off and on my entire life. He’s fine. I’m sure he’d love a bit more room to run, but then you have to worry if it’s closed in enough to keep out predators. He gets exercise from going in and out of the top box. And he’s a smaller bun. My last one was a French Lop and she wouldn’t have been able to move in that hutch, so of course her pen was bigger. It goes by the size of the bun. I’ve seen some in cages that size with no box for warmth and no access to fresh grass. So I’d say he’s happy just as is. And as long as they are use to cold climates from baby, they are fine with the cold. I used to freeze old milk and OJ containers to put in with outside buns on very hot days. Helped keep them from overheating.

Sandra Westley get some iron on tap for your pants, you just put it on the back and press the front and hey bingo no hole it glues them together and still works when washed, and can also get iron tap to shorten cuffs and pant lengths

You are correct about the summer being harder on animals than the winter, in most cases. Of course, my little chihuahua cross dog might disagree, but she does have her sweaters. 😜

Also, even though they aren’t made anymore you “might” be able to find some on Ebay. Also look one ThredUp, Poshmark, Swap, Mercati or even look at Salvation Army or Goodwill. I have taken clothes to Salvation Army and Goodwill that were never worn. And I have posted on Poshmark clothing never worn. You might be surprised at what you find. Just sayin’!
Jen look up the pants online. One can find a lot of discontinued items and in bulk at times. I have done that for my favorite pants and shoes. And i have now a sack of pants but they are comfy. I would just sew them up put a cute patch and order online more.

I have those ultimate fav pants too, when I ripped mine, and found out the same thing, they do not sell them anymore, I cut mine off just below the knee and made them into capris! And I still wear them all the time....and because they are knit fabric, there's no fraying and no need to hem them lol....might be an idea and you can still keep them longer ❤❤
If I'm not ready to let go of clothing that has a hole I cover the hole with an embroidered patch. In your case what about something embroidered with Stiver Tribe

I have a purple T-shirt that I absolutely love and it's almost 30 years old . The only thing 'special' about is that it's so dang comfy. It is gettin' mighty thin now though . *sigh* Comfy clothes are soooo hard to get rid of.

when i have fave pants instead of throwing them out i turn them into shorts and i wear them to sleep in. and the leg material i keep in the misc basket for future patches. i feel for you dear. i have a pair of shorts i LOVE. they have a wizard of oz material patch in the front and a gray patch on the back. i sleep in these. i wear things only one day and it's in the hamper. :)

Jenn I have the same problem with my pants.. You find a favorite style/material.. If you don't sew.. you could probably find someone who can duplicate your pants with the original pair..make a pattern with the original pair....videos on youtube 😊

I have a purple T-shirt that I absolutely love and it's almost 30 years old . The only thing 'special' about is that it's so dang comfy. It is gettin' mighty thin now though . *sigh* Comfy clothes are soooo hard to get rid of.

when i have fave pants instead of throwing them out i turn them into shorts and i wear them to sleep in. and the leg material i keep in the misc basket for future patches. i feel for you dear. i have a pair of shorts i LOVE. they have a wizard of oz material patch in the front and a gray patch on the back. i sleep in these. i wear things only one day and it's in the hamper. :)

Jenn I have the same problem with my pants.. You find a favorite style/material.. If you don't sew.. you could probably find someone who can duplicate your pants with the original pair..make a pattern with the original pair....videos on youtube 😊
