i miss this style of casting to heal for Hpalas. I used to main as one back in original TBC and for years it kept me coming back. i wasn't very fond of the melee version of healing in SL, it felt just as awkward and clunky as discipline priests dpsing to heal. the only somewhat effective way they implemented that dps style of healing was with monks.
6 years late I know but I've been replaying Legion on private servers lately about 5 times now since 2019 and dabbling with every class, even hpal which I actually did play during retail Legion. For M+ and raiding overall, Aura of Mercy is 100% the move because it's healing isn't split and the healing it gives during Aura Mastery on top of the artifact trait Protection of Tyr increasing healing received by 15%, is like another Tyr's Deliverance HoT. Devotion even with just 5 players, that aura being split too much kinda just makes it useless as opposed to some solid passive healing from Mercy that doesn't split at all. It does have a limit of healing only 3 injured allies but that's fine because most of the time you're going to be topping off yourself and usually the squishiest dps in the group meanwhile most tanks in Legion already have crazy good self-sustain, and that Mercy healing even though it is a limit of 3 injured targets, those targets are still getting the most value out of that passive healing so it gives you just a perfect enough edge.
downloaded the vuhdo profile but it doesn't have the bouquets for the spells, doesnt show anything like beacon of virtue or light of dawn etc... not sure if its a separate import, but i cant find it on your page...
I'd use Ishkar's over Deceiver's for sure. Highfathers can be a solid pick on very dangerous trash pulls, like the first one in this video, you'd just switch it out for something more aggressive on other packs that are less dangerous.
Depends on whats going on, but healing a boss fight, generally yes I space them. If I'm doing a massive pull and I know my cds will only be needed/useful for deeps then I'll just pop everything and go hard.
I think holy avenger is a great choice, but I’ve come to find out that divine purpose is extremely overpowered and useful can possibly get 3-5 free and instant cash dawn of lights or holy shocks.
Swiftfur Area52-US-Horde I agree with that statement. I should of specified that I was talking more about raiding which is pretty nice. Also, it’s nice in mythic plus to snipe people real quick and get em up.

It should be found in the Panels>Hot Icons. If they aren't theres a drop down menu in that window where you can just add them to show

Do you ever use Potion of the Old War instead of Prolonged Power for ST damage? Like when a boss doesn't require you to heal much?
Usually not, but you can if you wanted. Prolongs are cheap and flexible

Problem with it is RNG. It's great soemtimes, but sometimes you also don't need 6 holy shocks
