You can just use the wrap, 2 advantages of that, firstly you need less layers with the actual wrapper since there are already 2 layers on the bales, secondly if you use a bale slicer on your loader or telehandler you don't have to separate the net or twine out before disposal which is a messy and rather smelly job.
Yes they do make very good machines, although to be fair this was a Taarup/Vicon design that Kuhn inherited. They did make a few very good minor improvements though.
Very nice video indeed. Lush green grass, blue skies and great machinery! Excellent.
Thanks David, alwasy good to hear your comments, been a while since we posted, hopefully be a few more over the summer and harvest.

I’ll look forward to watching them.
Looks great. What is the minimum horsepower tractor needed to pull it with?
Kuhn say 109hp but you could probably get away with a bit less on flat ground, we run it on the 540E pto with the 6020 comfortably.
Do you need net or string on the bale or can you get away with just wrap?

Thats a tidy little baler, some engineering to fit the wrapper inside the bale chamber..
Yes, they are extremely well engineered and a lot lighter than the likes of the Fusion
Kuhn c’est top😮
