Maybe you won't read this but this tutorial came to me in a time of need. A few years ago someone in my life gifted me a mechanical pencil. He gave it to me because he loved me and at that time I didn't know it. After that he passed away and I couldn't even say goodbye. I had that mechanical pencil in my safe. But it didn't work, I figured I would use it once because it means a lot to me. But it just didn't work. And I was so heartbroken. And yesterday I even e-mailed the manufacturing company, wondering if they could send me a video about how to reassemble my pencil, it's a blue Milan encapsule mechanical pencil. (A spanish brand) . I was so sad because I thought I had destroyed the only thing I had from Arturo. And now with this video you helped me. It works!!!!! You are amazing thank you so much for this video.

I borrowed this pencil from my sister and promised it to return it to her. When I was using it, out of curiosity i totally dismantled it and after that i couldn't reassemble it the way it was, i got scared af and didn't know what to do, so I searched it and got this video. When i place my tube in the pencil sleeve, it is just floppy and loose... tghe spring is placed below and if i tip the pencil upside down it just slides out, also the pencil tube does not fit over or in the spring end so i dont understand what is cooking , this is really frustrating

@@regscience7254 okay thank you for replying, but i managed to do what you did. I just placed the front of the pencil with out the scrwed on front piece, on to a soft desktop mat, then dropped the spring in the pencil and then placed the lead steam in the pencil and i just pressed gently but firmly, and i felt a click kind of feeling then checked the click gap at the top was more or less 5 mm open and the click part was not loose or floppy anymore, so this is awesome. I dont know how but when i was in high school i never battled with these pencils, but i guess there are different styles which are more user friendly.

to which part is the chuck not properly connected? sometimes the spring will bend inside and you may need to take apart and try again.

I believe this is a common Target brand pencil. The most standard lead size is 0.7mm Usually any store that carries mech-pencils will also carry lead refills on the shelf nearby :)
