I too love Barnes & Noble. My first Nook was the Nook color tablet. Back then each store had a Nook area with people who knew all about the readers. Now it appears that Nook is just an afterthought. Like something they "have" to provide but wish they didn't. It is very dissapointing. I currently use the Glowlight 4 Plus and it is a great reader. I have the Glowlight 4e which is my "take with me" reader because it fits in my pocket. I also have a couple of Kindles and I prefer my Nooks. I tried Kindle Unlimited but found that I want to read too many books that were not part of the program, so it wasn't worth it to me. I have never had a Kobo, but I might have to try them out.
Yeah exactly… it’s really sad how they don’t focus more on it. 🤷🏼♀️ Kobo’s are wonderful! 😀♥️

I had the original 1st edition nook where it had the e-ink display on the top and a normal colored touch LCD on the bottom and I absolutely MISS it. I loved that thing!

I would love B &N to offer a similar KU program. Aside from my kindle paperwhite, I own the pink Glowlight 4e and love it

I love barnes & noble but it always blew my mind that they didn't dominate the market with the best e-readers and programs. I understand that they prefer to sell books but I fear them going under lol. I would love for them to at least make it easier to use libby on their glowlight. i had let my membership lapse because I didn't think the 10% was worth the price tag but I saw that now you get a free ebook a month and that made it worth it for me, no idea how long that has been included but its a good move for them
I completely agree!! They must have just started the free ebook deal because when I worked there and sold memberships.. I didn’t remember that being a part of it. That’s cool!
As a Canadian, I look at Nooks like a weird lil e-reader oddity. It's either Kindle or Kobo here, hard emphasis on the Kobo for library support.

I will be eventually, yes! Super excited. I’m looking forward to see what kindle has soon as far as color ereaders. 😀
@@thebooknookcorner1153 same. I am hoping Amazon is going to do a color e-ink and pencil support like the scribe but smaller :) I cannot justify getting a kobo color because I am way WAY too invested in amazon and have audible, KU, all my ebooks are amazon.
