The irony is that most of the factors needed for the production of electricity are Hydro , Coal , Gas, and Solar energy. The Southeast part of Nigeria is estimated to have the largest, Coal and Gas reserve in Africa , yet Nigeria has no reliable Electricity.

What does Imo get for having the largest gas deposit in West Africa? The talking point was Igbo people want their oil but Igbos were minding their business and now gas has located them. Many will wring their hearts as Anambra basin is a super basin of oil. Igbos are now relegated as sources of raw materials as massive LGN is now in Ibadan that hardly produce any gas.

Why is the FG always concentrating in oil and gas. Until the southern region natural resources are sucked dry they wont rest.
What about we start concentrating on solid minerals in the north? So that yhr whole country can benefit too
