She went to see Kate Bush :D And immediately when I heard the song it hit me deep; "Oh mom always listened to this"
My mother died from liver cancer. Coming back home after seeing her for the last time, my dad turned on the radio in the car and this song came on. I never related so much to a song in my life. Now I cry everytime I listen to it. Thank you Kate Bush.

that scene was so powerful 😢 Max felt all alone the entire time even while she wqs surrounded by everyone that loves her, she still felt alone... didn't realize how attached I was to her character, haven't screamed at a television in a long time but I stood up with tears streaming down my face "RUN MAX!" I'm 28 and just discovered Kate Bush a couple years ago randomly coming across her first hit Wuthering Heights. I was so impressed I had to listen to her entire discography and now she's one of my favorite artist ever. It's one thing to be great at singing, dancing, and performing while producing and writing all of her own music but the fact she could do all of that in a unique way is why I consider her one of the most talented artists I've ever come across.

My friend introduced me to Kate Bush a few years ago and it's so exciting seeing her music becoming popular like this. Kate is severely underrated as a musician, in my opinion (or at least she was until lately).
I heard this from Stranger Things 4, I was literally crying when all of Max’s memories were playing. The music came on and everything changed, she escaped Vecna’s grip🥹
The beauty of it is she had been playing it the whole season, a foreshadowing of what was to come. Haven’t thought about it hard enough to decipher if it was meant to signify maxs inner feelings of wishing she didn’t have to go through what was in front of her and desperately wishing to trade places with the other but toughed it out, or if it was a metaphor for how the rest of the cast felt so guilty and wished they could have been the one instead of her. Either way, fucking amazing buildup and incredible thematic choice. Props to the writers 🙌

I can somewhat relate to it on a level, my parents haven't watched stranger things but they know Kate Bush and I didn't before the show so I told them that this song was on it and told me that they didn't like it and I honestly don't know why. My friend introduced me to Kate Bush a few years ago and it's so exciting seeing her music becoming popular like this. Kate is severely underrated as a musician, in my opinion (or at least she was until lately).

I thought it was from Doctor Strange in multiverse
The beauty of it is she had been playing it the whole season, a foreshadowing of what was to come. Haven’t thought about it hard enough to decipher if it was meant to signify maxs inner feelings of wishing she didn’t have to go through what was in front of her and desperately wishing to trade places with the other but toughed it out, or if it was a metaphor for how the rest of the cast felt so guilty and wished they could have been the one instead of her. Either way, fucking amazing buildup and incredible thematic choice. Props to the writers 🙌

This one is my favorite. I listened to it years ago, and somewhat half forgot about it, I would somewhat replay snippets of it in my head. But couldn't find it again.
And I rediscovered it just a little while ago. (yes, you guessed how) And I can't say I was unhappy about it.
And I gotta say... the feel is so much better when I play it with my walkman. (Tapes have somewhat of an... nostalgic yet pleasant thing to them).

This song is phenomenal, I honestly don't care what anyone says. I can somewhat relate to it on a level, my parents haven't watched stranger things but they know Kate Bush and I didn't before the show so I told them that this song was on it and told me that they didn't like it and I honestly don't know why. It's such a beautiful and powerful song, it's been stuck in my head since May 27th because Sadie Sink wouldn't stop listening to it and hey I'm not complaining I love the song so much.
