A short story: Today would have been my 64th wedding anniversary. I was sad no one seemed to care. When I got to my craft room there was a huge bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums on my desk and a new coffee mug filled with candy. My granddaughters did not forget. How sweet is that? It’s been a long today. Woke up at 3 am so running on fumes to night I just got in from. My son’s 60th birthday celebration dinner. His wife & 3 daughters cooked all his favorite foods. It was delicious. So I’m watching the rest of your video to wind down for a good night’s rest I hope. I’m sure unhoard is a word 😂👍.

You should choose 1 week of Scrappy Saturday each month to do your scrap diary. Maybe,like week 4 of every month. You won't just keep up with your diary but, you can use scraps from papers used during that month. Don't know but, it might held. Several of my unfinished journals are Artymaze including a Rose journal. I remember when Tsunami Rose kits were $1.00. One Christmas she had a half price sale. I bought 25 kits! Good Christmas Eve, Eve darling Gayle. I will be excited to see Alice IWL journal. Gayle, you no doubt have allergies but dragging out things from shelves and closets, stirs up a lot of dust and paper "dander". The last time I decided to de-hoared I got overwhelmed and just started loading my car with stuff and took to my favorite thrift store. I know some lucky person was thrilled to find the lot of buttons and a bag of trims that I had NOT meant to destash. 😢 Many of those things are hard to find now. Oh Gayle, I would be so thrilled to have my granddaughter and her fella getting all dolled up for a dance. ❤ FUN! My Illinois family coming home today for our Christmas Eve gathering tomorrow. My hubby has agreed to help me with a major purge in multiple areas of my life, including my craft supplies. Too much stuff is weighing me down. Hoarders are -someone who just collects things they don’t intend to ever use. We are PACKRATS!! We collect things with a purpose or project in mind and intend to use it but we sometimes “collect” too much. You word should be more like un-Packrat… lol

Although I will say, as AI takes over the digitals people are making, they are all beginning to look alike, so I may be able to back off buying as many digitals. I remember the days when we received and sent telegrams (yup, that’s how old I am!) - i guess you can call them the fore runners of text messages, though they didn’t arrive quite as fast. I still have the telegram my dad sent me when I graduated high school, glued into my picture album. I also have the telegram my mom sent my dad to announce my birth (he was at sea). It was found in his belongings after he died. And I remember at weddings, while people were still sitting around huge dinner tables, someone would stand up and read out congratulatory telegrams to the bride and groom. Memories, memories, the photographs of our minds.
Your 2024 word is my word as well. I've been cleaning out all the stuff from my card making days & now I'm gonna focus on my style of crafting, which is grunge. This will correct that issue. I'm still watching your old videos. OMGRACIOUS, so much great stuff. You are by & far my favorite journal crafter. I wish I could buy from your Etsy and others as well but I'm on a very tight budget for the moment so I'm making due. Change your setting on your printer from full page to"fit the page" or something like that...then you won't get the ends cut off...fun video...

Good morning Gayle. I think you're a hoot. You should make yourself a promise that you WILL NOT buy any new kits until you've used EVERYTHING in your stash. That's what I've been doing. Like I won't allow myself to buy anymore old books until I've used up what I currently have. I won't buy anymore ribbon or lace until I've used up what I currently have, etc ... just wish I could put journals together as fast as you can. 😁TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
Morning Donna! Well….nope, that’s not gonna happen. 😂😂. Although I will say, as AI takes over the digitals people are making, they are all beginning to look alike, so I may be able to back off buying as many digitals. The only thing is, I need to keep it fresh for my videos. See, there I go, talking myself out of no buying already! 😂. Maybe one step at a time….like “slow down” buying craft supplies. 😂. Don’t think I can jerk the bandaid off all at once! 😂. But I’m really proud of you for having that kind of will power! You go, girl! ❤

I remember the days when we received and sent telegrams (yup, that’s how old I am!) - i guess you can call them the fore runners of text messages, though they didn’t arrive quite as fast. I still have the telegram my dad sent me when I graduated high school, glued into my picture album. I also have the telegram my mom sent my dad to announce my birth (he was at sea). It was found in his belongings after he died. And I remember at weddings, while people were still sitting around huge dinner tables, someone would stand up and read out congratulatory telegrams to the bride and groom. Memories, memories, the photographs of our minds.

I noticed your printouts were partially off the page. When you go to print you should have a setting where you can shrink the image to fit the page. This will correct that issue.
I'm still watching your old videos. OMGRACIOUS, so much great stuff. You are by & far my favorite journal crafter.
I wish I could buy from your Etsy and others as well but I'm on a very tight budget for the moment so I'm making due. And on that note I take my used dryer sheets and coffee dye and egg color dye them and they're fabulous. I hope you'll give it a try.

I have that extremely burnt grungy dyed paper and it was my first purchase as well....just so sad to see it in my drawer and can't use it...i sure don't know what I was thinking!!! Lol
