The only NFL game i've ever attended was 1994 Browns vs Cowboys. Leroy Hoard was the "Man". The Browns upset the Cowboys, on their way to a 11-5 season.
Leroy on point with his take...play the game thats in front of you and also the play caller must recognize what kind of game its going to be and call plays accordingly.
I'm glad that Cleveland has Winston. He's a gunslinger. He's going for it where ever he can. I personally think Tampa would have won the Super Bowl that year with him as well.
Winston loves to run the ball. Winston is doing what Dorsey is asking him to do. Winston preference is a west coast offense. He has yet to play in that scheme since being a pro. The only time he had a coach the pushed running the ball a lot was Lovie Smith and with Sean, every other coach preferred to push the ball down field. Cleveland sports talk guys just talk out there butt with out doing research. Winston went to Cleveland because of Kevin's offense, he isn't running Kevin's offense he is running Dorsey's push the ball down field don't run the ball from under center often scheme. If Winston knew this would be the offense he would be running no way he ever goes to Cleveland.
Leroy.. best take in recent weeks by all analyst. Great perspective. Great job to the guy who quoted Josh Allen, that was timely. Great conversation all around.
You got it! Can you please tell Jameis! In Denver, on the first interception, he had his read to the right, but it was not there and he held on to long. When he tried to go to his check down, the defense was ready! If Jameis had just got rid of the ball to the check down right away, it would have been a big play.
Hoard is making a good point about what it takes to win and I think Stefanski thinks the same way, when he ran his offense, his plays...not flashy, but effective-it got him COY twice and got the Brown's into the playoffs twice.Haslam has to let Stefanski coach and Berry is IMO a very good GM and I know it won't happen if true, but maybe Haslam is getting some of his football advice from Paul DePoodesta and shouldn't be,I'd get rid of Paul DePodesta before I'd ever get rid of Andrew Berry
Leroy mentioned how Josh Allen was a chucker in the past, dude reads a quote that makes it seem like he's not a chucker. Then sky smile thinking nobody caught on. Even Leroy chuckled because he knows what the guy did
The DL made a helluva play to read the screen and didn't fall for the pump fake. The 2nd INT was a result of Elijah Moore not making a play on the ball while in the air, he just ran. I don't think they actually watch the games honestly, just react to stats m
You mean it too Leroy this long to figure out Winston in that he has a career 40% win rate and throws bunches of TD's and ugly, really ugly interceptions each game?!?!?
Jameis makes your offense click and put up points. Jameis is getting production from Tillman, Juedy, and Moore. Why are these guys nitpicking Jameis ahead of the Special Teams and Defense. Talk about being intellectually dishonest.
That is not what he is talking about gut that read the article. Josh cannot make the plays that Jameis can make. He trying to make the point for example with the Steelers: Tomlin was bring the heat on the defense of line to prevent Jameis from making the reads and getting outside the pocket. Jameis should have notice that the defense was coming with hard pressure and he should have adjusted for the play, dink and donk. Jameis does not have the mentality to do that.
That’s why Winston is the interception king, thinks the NFL is backyard football and loves throwing it no matter the consequences. If it weren’t for the fact the Browns are 3-10 and produced a spark, I could’ve seen DTR this week, though mind as well give him the start to get more tape to see if he’s truly not worth keeping (though with their horrible cap predicament, keep him until it gets fixed).
Kevin is probably wondering about now why the dumb Cleveland fans are not screaming for him to call plays now,I’ve been watching for that any one else he’s never called plays for Winston.
Really, Leroy???!! 20 for 22 for 180 yards? That's what's required to win???? That's sounds like Watson's stats. Golly G! Yet the Browns are STILL losing without Watson. Gottdamnnn, I'm glad he popped his Achilles. Ya'll can't blame that man for the losses no more.
I think something your missing is the comparison of the stat he gave and Watson stats. Watson would be throwing 40+ times for 180 yards because the game wasn't in control. A stat like 20/22 for 180 shows efficiency and control in a game, showing that you don't need to throw alot if you are balanced and in control. It all depends on balance, and the Browns don't have that rn. Also Watson just sucks too
@@BrexitToTheExit-kh1bktrue watson did suck only averaged 160 yards per game and had more turnovers then td passes. Watson was 1-6. And has the lowest qBr in the nfl.
Leroy is on the show because he is funny and he understands the mentality of how to win a nfl game when your team does not have a star QB. Leroy has maintained that the Browns under KS, the host of QBs he has had and this offensive line have needed to develop the run game to be successful. Arguably, Leroy was generally correct until this year when the offensive line became more ineffective than prior years.

Tampa looks good this year too, maybe not on defense but they beat the lions and eagles already. Should be the 4 seed.

Great take Leroy concerning Winston. I wish you had his phone number.
Leroy should be a coach.
If Kicker makes his FGs we had a 13-13, and we have a totally different ballgame.
Look at Winston 5td games, he has 2. He threw the ball less than 25 times and less than 260yds passing. He also had a run game in both those games.
The DL made a helluva play to read the screen and didn't fall for the pump fake. The 2nd INT was a result of Elijah Moore not making a play on the ball while in the air, he just ran. I don't think they actually watch the games honestly, just react to stats m
His flaws outweigh any strength. U can't turn it over like that

Once again how can you be more upset about the pick over the Kicker missing 2 easy FGs after Jameis led them down the field.

Jameis is outplaying watson. In every stat and wins too
Keeping an eye on you Leroy 👀
So going 20-29 for 140 yards is better than throwing for 500 yards???? Who are these dudes??? Jameis played better than the defense and Kicker...smh
