- Wesley Ryan loved his 1993 Mustang GT but had to make a sacrifice when his wife had ovarian cancer. He sold the car 17 years ago to pay for treatment. In 2017, his son found the car and rebought it for his father. Bill Ford heard about this story and knew he had to do something. Ford teams up with Hennessey Performance to rebuild the Mustang.

😥😥😥My husband had a car like that, he loved it so so much, he had to sell it because of financial issues... he was devastated, so I feel for the guy... I feel happy he was reunited with his car, man a round of applause for the men who give up things that they love because they rather put their families first.

In 2003 I was 18 years old stationed in Hawaii. My first car I bought there was a 2003 Ford Focus. Till this day I still drive it. My wife recently told me "you need to buy a new car"... I bought a 2017 Ford Focus. I still drive the old one though. ;)

What ever happened to that Mustang 5.0 sound? When you heard it you knew! I miss that sound. Haven't heard an original in many year's. Would be nice to hear it Again. That 302 5.0 and flowmasters mix were a beauty.

Ford made some money when they sold me an ‘18 Mustang GT. It’s good to know a little tiny bit of that went into rebuilding this car.

Wow your a lucky guy! Awesome!!! i really miss my 91 LX 5.0 titanium paint 373 rear end it was my first Car I was 17. It was sold by my parents a few years later to a family member of mine who won’t sell me back the car. So your lucky to get your car back and more lucky to have such a wonderful family enjoy the stang she’s beautiful.

Beautiful story, Hey ummm my 5.0 has been sitting for years now too because of family and life, can i get a rebuilt too. I think Ford should have a rebuild plan for existing owners who don't want a new car but want to rebuild the beautiful mustang they already own, idk just a thought. Congrats again Ryan family.....

I wish this happened to me it would have been really nice, but life changes I have a 1990 mustang GT convertible and a 1992 LX 5.0 convertible both are red with white tops, I'm located in Chicago and I'm selling both cars for 6500 obo as a package deal going thru a divorce only reason for sales I'm 1000 percent serious to much to list on parts and built engine that has not even been started yet in the LX
