I am Tanzanian. I was lucky to take a picture with Al Anderson in Istanbul Türkiye almost 20 years ago when The Wailers performed there. He was so kind to me and asked me some few questions about life and society in Türkiye.

Mr AI Anderson I do admire you alot Sir , Just imagine how closed you were beside BOBMARLEY. I want to sincerely thank you for the rule you play with the BOBMARLEY
Especially no woman no cry album
This particular track brings tears on my eyes each time I listen the timeless tune. The solo on no woman no cry blows my mine

We need more Al Andersons to give us insight into the goings-on for those who want to understand. If you seek knowledge, you seek knowledge. Those that don't understand never will, so forever hold thine peace

Salute for being a Wailer and have a chance to live this far and tell. Most from that generation caught a fire from the Machine. It was a good thing Peter, Bob, and Bunny started the thing anyway. I can't imagine a day without The Wailers wailing in a radio somewhere for a soundtrack...

Learned some stuff from An Anderson and Cheena Smith. Nobody messes with the 70s, Jack. It's not possible.

Some of Al's story is true and some are pure fictional fantasy. Dr. Issels was never Hitler's junior doctor, Issels was an SS doctor during the 3rd Reich in Germany. Also, I don't think Al Anderson spent so much time in Bavaria and not Munich with Bob as he claims, he could have spent a short time there but not a very long time. So yes, Al Anderson played a part in the band, but the other members also played a very equal part in the band. I in my opinion believed that Bob Marley was killed by the forces that be just to silence him and what he stood for. That was the events of the times.

I think you are wrong. SS doctor or Hitler's doctor just a matter of semantics and therefore means the same

If you believe he was killed by the CIA, how was he killed if it wasn’t through cancer poisoning using a needle stick through a gifted pair of shoes? As close as you were to him and his family, you ought to be able to give a more plausible scenario; especially after 43 years of his death.

Can you blame him for thinking that? I wouldn't be surprised if his accusation was correct tho. The repression of democratic aspirations in the post-colonial world was rampant. And still is.

I am really sorry to say, but this man is a complete liar an absolutely full of crap he's a bitter man that always feels he didn't get what he should have. Sorry, Mr. Anderson stop telling lies about Bob and you.

I don’t think he lying nor he’s bitter I think he’s telling the full truth because the things he’s saying I’ve heard before from a few different angles. I love Bob Marley and his music I also understand that his works was not only him all the band members played a big part in terms of writing songs and other areas and when I hear how they all shafted it makes nmr sick they all got nothing, when he say bob was a politician he does not mean literally but I understand clearly what he’s saying Bob got shot because of politics so I got it.
