A moon being within the atmosphere would explain the incredibly bizarre ocean currents and strange phenomena that occur in the One Piece world.
Our Moon is in Earth´s atmosphere aswell.... it was discovered recently

Maybe the moon being so close explains why the world of One Piece is reduced to just islands and not continents.

Hey,hear me out...i don't think the moon is in the one piece world's atmosphere, mostly because: 1, if it was, the moon would have smashed on the earth's surface by now because of gravity
2: we can see that, despite the fact that the one piece moon does have an atmosphere, it doesn't have the typical blue sky of earth, if the moon was in the planet's atmosphere, its sky would be blue too.
So, i have a different opinion, what if the moon was close enough to the planet to share a gas bridge with it? Let me explain it: so, since the moon is very close to the planet, the gravities of both the moon and the planet could maybe create a gas bridge between them, and eneru probably crossed that gas bridge, otherwise, he would have died because of the lack of oxygen in space...anyway, this is my personal theory, let me know if you agree or not.
If a Mink is on the moon would they always be in Sulong form? Would they avoid looking down?

The weakest point of Naruto for me (I know im not supposed to give my opinion) was the "Space Ninja" stuff.
If Oda does bring Enel and Space Pirates back I hope he does it good
Diffrence is, Naruto sucked at the execution since it LITERALLY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE while One Piece has been foreshadowing this since the 400's.
And space pirates is a far more normal concept...we tend to threat space like just a different sea.

Maybe the original "Winged Folk" (my name for the Skypians, Brikans, and Shandorians) were not originally from the moon, perhaps they came from somewhere else, colonized the moon, then came to the OP world. Perhaps the Minks have a connection to space as well due to their power coming from the moon and the fact that the space pirates look extremely similar to the Minks. So my theory is this:
The Minks used to be the native inhabitants of the moon (which is why they are the only race so far to have a power that comes from the moon itself) and lived there for a while. Then the "Winged Folk" came from deep space and took over the moon, colonizing it, creating the city of Brika, and making the automata. This displaced the "Proto-Minks" from their home and caused a schism within their race. Some "Proto-Minks" decided to run away to the Blue Sea (the OP world) becoming the modern-day Minks, whereas others decided to stay, fight through guerrilla warfare, and steal from the "Winged Folk" becoming the Space Pirates. After a long time (enough to get a whole city made) the "Winged Folk" depleted the resources on the moon and went down to the Blue Sea (also to escape the Space Pirate harassment), they didn't worry about the Minks down there because it had been so long since the "Proto-Mink" schism that they had forgotten about the ones that weren't Space Pirates (the Minks had forgotten about the "Winged Folk" too), and settled on the White-White Sea, with the Shandorians splitting away to colonize Jaya down on the Blue Sea about 1200 years ago. After they left the Space Pirates were left to their own devices, re-colonized the Moons, and by the time Eniru make his way to the Fairy Verth, the Space Pirates have finally got around to colonizing the last moon.
The reason for their slow pace at re-colonization could be a number of reasons, but the reason that I like to go with was that when the "Winged Folk" left the moons, the state of said moons was far worse off then we have seen in the story, perhaps nearly everything was left barren and lifeless, much in a similar way to our own moon. And it took over 1200 years to re-terraform the moons back to a life-supporting state.
This has just been a theory of mine about the moon.

Random One Piece Thought: What would happen if Ace, Sabo or Akainu go close to the sun or on the sun
You can make the argument that the Europeans, Aztecs, Mayans and Incans did not value Gold in the same ways. Europeans saw it as a form of wealth and political power. The Latina and South American Empires saw it as having a more Religioous and Spiritual power. Plus it is a very easy metal to mine and shape.
Gold was viewed as Holy by Europeans too, not as Holy as Silver but it was still viewed as a Holy Metal.

Is Uranos not the army of automata on the moon? If controlling sea kings constitutes as an ancient weapon why would that not? Maybe the electricity fruit is required to control the weapon.
I doubt it. Sea Kings are actually feared by quite a lot of people in the One Piece world. The automata on the other hand...They may have helped with the construction and/or development though.

If the moon was in the eath's atmosphere (the part where you can still somewhat breathe), the first thing that comes to my mind is the incredible friction that would deccelerate the revolvement, bringing the moon ever further down. Then its gravity could actually be felt and tides and storms unlike anything we've ever seen would be common.
Oda could spin this to be the reason for the grandline's intense weather.

You forgot about the celestial dragons were from the moon too. They lived in those advanced, electric powered buildings that enel saw. Then they went down in blue sea and decided to rule over humanity(WG) and lived at marijois, a pretty high place, just like the moon.

Triton is Saturn's moon.
And Io(io, one of Jupiter's moons) is probably the one other than Triton most likely to hold life.
Triton is Neptune's Moon, Titan is Saturn's Moon. Triton is the only Moon of Neptune that spins in opposite direction from others Moons of Triton.

Actually, based off Alabasta's calc (which puts it at around AUstralia's size based off its river size) and comparing to the red line, OP earth is calced to be a Jupiter class planet.
