You did great job love the way you presented that you’re very secular and organize your thoughts. I commend you for that look forward to watching more videos from you….. I have yet to get my system working correctly since I got it three years ago. One of those projects that I wanna do and never get to it, I have a traumatic brain injury/TBI I don’t remember some things well and I’m good with networking and computers, but I just had time to get this right so I will be talking to you in the future for sure, I will see you around the ranch!
Your base in the settings was not up nearly enough. AirPods Max take from Beats when it comes to base. For an audio guy I thought you would know how to adjust those settings.
Weird that you perceive the bass as lacking while most other reviewers use the eq to dial back the bass or dial up the highs to balance the lows and highs
I tried the five, and it sounded good, but I didn't prefer it over a pair of HomePod 2's

The sound is right between Max and XM5 for me - so that's excellent. However, impact sound when walking and this constantly wonky ANC is really offputting. Several reviewers reporting the same, alway strange when the big TH-cam channels don't talk about any of that ...
@@beardfm I’ve noticed I get more out of my beats earbuds(forgot name) when I turn off noise canceling or so. I lost it so I can’t test it now. I enjoyed my beats over the ear years ago as well. I tried the max at the Apple Store and I thought they were broken. People who own max don’t want to admit it till you bring it up lol. I’ve had several Max owners go “yeah, I wish it had more bass but it’s cool”. I’ll check out the Ace since it has EQ controls but the fact that you are saying it has less bass than the Max has me wondering how it really sounds.

Appreciate the kind words! And will be posted more videos on the Ace and more Sonos gear soon!
Omg glad I watched this first before pulling the trigger with the Sonos ace. BASS is very important to me. Thanks Stephen!
For sure! I’m spending some hours with it today and tomorrow and the full review will be coming soon!
@@beardfm looking forward to it!
There’s a bass control in the Sonia app.
Just turn it up higher!
@@billmulvihill8452 Stephen did on the video to its highest, and bass still not as loud compared to the AirPods Max.
Bass not there for me to about to return them

To be fair, I prefer strong bass, but comparing to AirPods Max as the reference the bass was less. Will do more testing and full review coming soon.
Does it support dolby atmos via apple music?
Yes it does!
where them eyeglass frames from my dude
Warby Parker!
Curious, if you’re a music lover, why don’t you have a pair of Sonos Fives, in your Sonos System, since 97% of all music is stereo, not Atmos content?

Yeah, after spending a lot of time listening to them, I don't think I'll be keeping them.
Can Sonos fix the bass with a software update or do they have to make a whole new headphone?
If I crank the eq the bass gets to where I almost like it. I imagine there could be a software change as the drivers as the same size as AirPods Max

You must love Bose car systems with that booming bass, that overpowers everything else in the sound spectrum!🤣
Thanks
Uh oh! You got me worried because the AirPod Max has NO BASS. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Say WHAT? No bass? Are there headphone you find give you the bass you're looking for?
