The outrage against Pepsi has not yet fizzled, despite the soda company pulling and apologizing for a controversial ad featuring Kendall Jenner joining a street protest and handing a can of soda to a cop. Jenner covered her face and kept silent while being bombarded with questions after landing in Paris on Wednesday. Some critics are confused as to why Jenner got her own apology and late-night jokesters couldn't resist making the commercial a part of their opening bits Wednesday night. #InsideEdition

I'm confused, can someone please explain to me why this ad was bad and why they apologized? Like I'm so confused.
Saliha Hussain some people thought pepsi was using there ad like when the black people matter movement happened that pepsi was trying to say the world could be better if you have a Pepsi so people thought pepsi didnt care about the protest and blah blah but i think they were just trying to use something that was going on to incorporate there product

The outrage over this ad shows the lengths people will go to be offended by something. It's as though it cool and hip to be offended by something and express that outrage on social media. There is nothing wrong with this ad.

My first name is Kendall. And I wasn’t named after her. My parents didn’t know she existed when I was born. So when the reporter said “Kendall” without her last name, it made me really happy. I was even pretending that he was taking about me.
