I use a regular foot, but it can be helpful to hold onto the thread ends before you start to stitch with a little tension and that will help prevent knotting.

You might want to make it a bit shorter if it doesn’t have as good of stretch recovery as normal elastic, and I wouldn’t worry about folding it in half - it should work great as is!

I’m going to try using the long ‘bodkin’ to turn the rectangular piece right side out. That should make short work of it, lol! 💜

I can’t find elastic where I live but I don’t have some fold over elastic. Could I use that?
Yes you can totally use fold over elastic!

you loose 1000 points for cutting paper with your rotary cutter! if you were in my class I would have failed you!!! the bow is very cute tho
