If you change your cabin filter you'll notice a big difference. Some older vehicles have them but mostly the newer ones (after 2000) have them for certain.
You have to remember the position Marc: Stand on your head and squeeze yourself under the dash. Then with your fourth hand, do all the work blindfolded. Not much fun to do but worth it in the end!
Check rock auto online their prices are good and they ship quick. Combine a filter order with something else you need and it works out. I buy most parts there.
I can see this coming up on Grampie's Workshop. Please make sure to film the part where you have to stand on your head to reach the screws, that's the fun part. I noticed a huge improvement in the air flow out of the vents after the change. It's a worthwhile job and as you said "refreshing."
@@EverydayProjects I travel a very dusty dirt road (about 10 miles one way) nearly every day, so I bet my filter is pretty clogged up too. There would be enough dust in it to plant a peck of potatoes I bet!!!

It is an often overlooked bit of vehicle maintenance but it's worth the time it takes to replace it. What year is the Land Rover? I like those old Land Rovers. They are the classic adventure vehicle right alongside the old FJ40 Toyota Landcruisers. I had one of the Toyotas (1978) but it burned-I always wanted another one.

I love going through dumpsters, haha That's how I develop those special muscles for working on cars. Getting under the dash can be tricky but it can be done.
